A bad night turned awful by an incompetent tow truck driver.<br><br>I called for a tow at 10:06pm last night, with the person answering stating that a driver would arrive in 20 minutes. I receive a phone call requesting details shortly after, and the driver arrives at 10:42pm. I proceed to watch as my Prius -with dead hybrid battery - is towed on his flatbed.<br><br>Once he manages to get my car onto the flatbed with my assistance describing that a dead hybrid car is essentially a brick (hint: it should be towed by its front wheels, as the hybrid motor locks the front wheels, while the rear rotate freely) we set off for my apartment.<br><br>A short drive later, I arrive in another car, and after several minutes receive another call asking for directions. I provide them while I listen to his gps tell him the same things I am, so I am unsure if he understands Google Maps directions (another vital skill for a tow truck driver).<br><br>Now comes the hard part. He has my dead hybrid car on his flatbed, and the front wheels are locked. The car cannot be powered on to be put into neutral, and neither of us knows how to release the parking pawl inside the transmission. After over 2 hours of increasingly sketchy antics involving risks to my personal safety and the safety of my vehicle, my car is finally on the ground with the help of my personal floor jack and my own hard work on the back of his flatbed.<br><br>To top it all off, when it is time to pay, he requests I pay via Zelle, Cash App, or any payment service besides a regular credit card. I cave and provide payment via Cash App, and at the last minute he tells me to not list that this payment is for towing. I can only imagine this is for tax avoidance reasons.<br><br>I recommend avoiding this tow company at all costs based on the experience I had with this driver. The company that hired this individual is also at serious risk of future liability claims should he not be properly trained in the future. If you drive a hybrid in Atlanta, do not call this tow company.

Highly recommend. Very professional and efficient. I was super stressed after losing a tire on the way home from my night shift. This man provided excellent service with grace and efficiency that is unmatched and hard to find these days.<br><br>Very good conversation also. I pray that the Lord continues to bless this man and all of his descendants, as he is truly doing the Lord‘s work

Had a really pleasant experience with them. AAA came by and told me my car was too low to get onto the truck, but they came around and got it on with a few chunks of wood, no problems. They changed the price on me mid-way on the job, but still they were reasonable and let me off the hook for a google review! Thanks again!!
