Staff was very knowledgeable, service done same day that I dropped my car off for repair. Came her for a second opinion and felt confident that the staff knew what they were doing and did things correctly. Prices are extremely fair. There was a diagnostics charge but was reasonable with price of repair. They did not try to upsell me on anything that I didn’t need. Highly recommend.

The first thing I'd like to share is, THEY WOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS THIS LONG IF THEY ARE DOING BAD BUSINESS!! (15+ yr's) ESPECIALLY BEING LOCATED IN THE HEART OF LYNDON/ ST MATTHEWS AREA.. I was raised in the area and they been in business as long as I can remember.. I mean.. That right there speaks a lot about a business, especially being located in a High-end/ East End area...

I brought my fiance's 2000 Buick LeSabre into their shop because her car was running extremely rough. I'm pretty mechanical inclined but I could not pinpoint the issue. I started off by telling them just to take care of the six spark plugs. There are three plugs located in the back of the engine that is very difficult to get to and they have the right equipment to do it. I could handle the coil packs and the wires myself.

They called me on the phone and told me that it was the coil pack that was giving me issues and that to the cylinders were not firing. How was the little confused at first because I am mechanically inclined but also only to certain vehicles that I've owned through my years. Well I have never heard of an Ignition Control Module (ICM) before so I never thought about checking or replacing it.

After I got off the phone with him I decided to do some research and came to the conclusion that I was capable enough to replace the (ICM) unit along with the coil packs and spark plug wires. So I went back to him and told him that I was going to replace all the parts myself other than the spark plugs. But since there's nothing wrong with the spark plugs I'm not worried about changing them right at the moment unless the problem does not fix after the parts are installed.

I asked him at first what do I owe him because over the phone before I arrived I mentioned something to him that I might just fix it all myself and he said that's fine all you owe me is it diagnostic fee. (Which it is perfectly okay to pay somebody for their knowledge) And he told me don't worry about it, just get the car taken care of. He did not charge me nothing and I even offered him $40 just for the wise wisdom he gave me because now because of his knowledge that he shared with me I was able to fix my fiance's car, an issue that we've been dealing with for almost a year now and I have fixed my fiance's car and it is straight up running like a brand new car now!!

Also if they're offering to fix your car yes it's going to cost a few hundred dollars because it probably difficult to do.. if it was easy we wouldn't need mechanics..

But anyways people.. the owner and his crew have to make a living just like us and obviously they're not rolling rich. They offer a fair asking price and are very knowledgeable on vehicles.

I encourage anyone to trust these honest mechanics and their knowledge (don't forget nobody's perfect also) but like I said they are old school wise men that are just trying to make a decent living.

Recommend these mechanics to help you with your mechanic needs!

Took my car in for a general inspection, gave them the go-ahead to fix what needed to be fixed. Less than 12 hours after i picked the car up (the very next time i drove it), a loud rattle began and i immediately took it back. Apparently a rubber hanger holding my muffler (that they… missed? Didn’t bother to check?) broke, causing my exhaust to drop, and resulting in my needing to replace the muffler. Charged me an additional $30 for what they missed the first time and sent me on my way without so much as an “oops, sorry”. I can’t help but wonder if i wouldn’t need a whole new muffler if only we had been lucky enough to catch the splitting rubber piece in the diagnostic check I had originally requested.
