I had an excellent experience with APS Automotive and felt confident in their work from start to finish. They correctly diagnosed a persistent noise issue that had been misidentified elsewhere and repaired it thoroughly. The vehicle now runs quietly, and the problem has been fully resolved. The pricing was fair, the explanation was clear, and there was no unnecessary upselling or “fluff.” Everyone I interacted with was professional, well-spoken, and respectful. Communication was straightforward, and the work was executed exactly as discussed. I had been to APS Automotive many years ago and had a very positive impression then — and I can confidently say that impression still holds true today. Update: Robert the owner called and cut his vacation short to come and fix the issue personally as well as reimbursed us half of the labor money. Customer service with Jessie and the lady answering phones 5 stars, the owner Robert 5 stars as well, but the tech who I won't name really did put my family at risk by doing a very sloppy job. People do make mistakes, but man there was just too many to change this to anything other than 3 stars. Will give them the opportunity to make it right and adjust rating accordingly. We recently had our Jeep Grand Cherokee in their shop and paid $1650 to have our oil filter housing and water pump fixed and picked up the vehicle Christmas Eve. Today (Saturday) my wife tried starting up the vehicle and instead of turning on, gas started spewing out under the front of the vehicle on top of the exhaust all over the driveway and started to smoke under our hood. THANKFULLY this did not happen while she was driving or especially while driving with our two year old son in the vehicle as this could’ve been a very very serious problem. Also found bolts missing, a plastic part broken, many wires routed incorrectly and pinched. Unfortunate this has happened and especially on a Saturday morning leaving us without transportation over the weekend. Will wait to hear from them Monday when they open to see what happens and will update.

I am extremely happy with folks here at APS. Customer Service, Resources and Experience are all things that I confidently rate 5/5 stars. Right off the bat I can tell that these folks work well together and that means a lot when you’re trusting a team with your car. Situation: My 1998 Corvette had high oil pressure reading that was too high for me to be comfortable with driving all the way back to the Bay Area. Customer Service: The gentleman behind the desk greeted me when I arrived, the technician stopped what he was doing to take a quick look at my corvette and gave me some surface observations for what the cause could be. Robert heard my situation. He acknowledged that I was mid travel from the central coast to the Bay Area. He knew that I was willing to leave the car and come from the bay area to pick it up later in the week but he was willing to get the part I needed and get it installed by the end of the day so that I wouldn’t have to make two big round trips. Resources: APS has multiple lifts and get my car in the air to see if I had any leaks or damage. Robert took the time to investigate the probable cause of high oil pressure and provided me an explanation and the expectations for the repair. I was extremely pleased with their experience and resources. I was able to confidently hit the road before 3 PM and made it home safe and sound. I recommend APS automotive to anyone that is looking for a knowledgeable team. Robert thank you very much for the attention to detail, Customer Service and Time.
