I had a really positive experience at Dana Point Automotive while traveling far from home with my daughter. Car trouble can be incredibly stressful, but the team here made the whole situation much easier. Eric was excellent at communicating throughout the process and took the time to carefully look over my vehicle. He even noticed things that other mechanics had missed, which gave me a lot of confidence that my van was being looked at thoroughly and honestly. After I dropped off the keys to my vehicle, the owner noticed my daughter and I were planning to take the bus back to our hotel and kindly offered to give us a ride instead. That level of care and compassion is rare and meant so much to us. I’m also happy to report that they were able to get my vehicle up and running again in just a couple of days, even though they had to order a part. As a woman, I trust them. And as a single mom far away from home, they made a stressful situation so much better. I’m incredibly grateful for the honesty, professionalism, and kindness we experienced at Dana Point Automotive, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy auto repair.

Had an issue with my car. Took it here based off reviews. Eric immediately came out to double check the error codes. Pulled up what was needed and he could’ve easily kept me and charged me but he proceeded to read through a recall for the part. Confirmed some information so that we could verify my car was under warranty. Referred me to a dealership so I could go get the part replaced for free. Will absolutely bring him future work! High integrity business.

Stop looking now! THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOUR VEHICLE! I highly recommend Dana Point Automotive. I found this location because I broke down right in front of their shop. They were working after hours and still took the time to help me. They were professional, knowledgeable, and I felt like they were very honest and trustworthy. They completely stand behind all their work and the quality of their work is premium. I really cannot recommend them enough. I have had a family mechanic for years, but this will now be my go to place! I will recommend to all my friends and family from now on and a HUGE thank you to the amazing team at Dana Point Automotive!!
