I don't think the negative reviews understand what this place is. Orange residents dump their residential trash here and it's paid for by Orange taxes, so they check your license to make sure you live in Orange. They all seem to know each other way too well. I'm new here so I expect to get asked to show my license. They don't accept dirt and construction materials because it is not a regular dump. It's just for household trash and recyclables. Taxes in Connecticut are rediculously high, but that's a different issue.

Always go to there to dump. Was asked by a lady with a cane (she works there) for license. Very rude and irritate mannerism. I told her why is she not asking any other of the vehicles for their license she said I have the right to ask anyone for their license. Okay so ask the other residents dumping. Anyway very condescending and negative experience, almost felt I was being profiled.

I Google a place near me to disppose of soil. This location popped up. I went there and I was told they don't accept soil recommended me a different location They charged me $227.00 for a pick up truck cargo. I was not a lot of soil, I felt they rip me off. I decided to go to another location, it was more soil. They only charge me $10.00 and a guy voluntarily came and help my husband, and didn't even accepted a tip The great service and friendly ppl at GRILLO.
