My complex started implementing temporary permit passes (10 passes a month), which is not nearly enough. Me and my girlfriend have a 1-year old daughter together and extremely busy mornings. Just this passed Thursday, while I was in the middle of doing a permit pass, I looked outside and saw he was towing the car. I ran outside to stop him and explain. He was extremely rude and shrugs his shoulders. I told him I was literally just doing the pass and he replied with “stop using those, you live here at this point” and which I replied “I do. This is my partners car”. “Get on the lease,” he says , shrugging his shoulder again. I call the dispatch to get the address and asked her to tell him we’re on the way after walking up my girlfriend and our daughter. I got there via Uber and they had us waiting outside in the cold with our daughter. They finally pulled up after nearly 40 minutes. This company is completely insane and rude. People are just trying to get by, and now we have to worry about getting our car towed. This makes me want to lease an apartment elsewhere.

My apartment complex recently began utilizing Auto Pros services. Tonight, one of their drivers towed my significant other's car out of his RESERVED ($25/month) parking spot in the complex. The driver almost RAN HIM OVER when he tried to talk to him to sort things out... then when we called the company, the dispatcher was beyond rude and had a very negative attitude from the moment she answered the phone. We tried to explain he'd had that paid spot for over a year, his vehicle payments were up to date as he'd just gotten the car, and the leasing office has all of the updated info for his car - the ONLY one allowed to be in that spot. Rather than looking in the rear windshield for his sticker/permit, they claimed it was an "unauthorized vehicle" and towed it away. Their tow yard off of 49th St was difficult to find (especially since it was past midnight and the dispatcher couldn't even provide directions) and the location looked absolutely sketchy. To top it all off, Auto Pros still made us pay for THEIR mistake. If there was any miscommunication between the leasing office and them, it shouldn't have become our problem. Very unprofessional.

This towing company is a complete scam. They target hardworking people by towing cars from their own homes and charging over $200 for no valid reason. It’s shameful how they take advantage of residents instead of helping the community. People deserve better than to be harassed and robbed by a company like this.
