We came to see the Ft Oglethorpe area to join famfor thanksgiving from North Carolina. Unfortunately our cooling system failed and we had to have our radiator and radiator fan replaced so we could get back home. The owner worked us in even though they were booked for a week and completed a major repair for a very reasonable price. I chose this shop because of their average 4.9 ratings. I am impressed with the quality of the service and not getting overcharged when we were in a difficult position. The owner is a straight shooter. If we lived in the area he would be our mechanic. Major repairs on 25 year old truck In January 2026 I brought in my 25 year old 4x4 Suburban. The 4 wheel drive and reverse gear did not work. I submitted the truck with a detailed list of the problems. Scott and crew kept me appraised of my repair options and costs. The large amount of repair was completed in 1.5 weeks. The truck now performs better than when I bought it in 2010. I won't let anyone work on my vehicles besides Scott and crew. I will have the truck back for maintenance in the spring.

There are two things I absolutely hate looking for, a good barber and a good mechanic. Scott at Fort O Auto Service definitely made finding a mechanic a lot easier than normal. He had a packed schedule but got my misfiring cylinder diagnosed and fixed in a flash. I will absolutely bring my vehicles to him in the future. You should too.
