It should be bigger to accommodate the Westside community. More roll offs trash bins and two to three lanes to access it. And allow more trips to access and dump your trash. Right now it's only 2 trips allowed. This is why all the back roads have a lot of trash dumped on the side of the road.

Get there early before a line starts but even if there's a line, everyone is pretty quick to dump their load. My son's are always ready to lend a hand when they see someone having a hard time. Oh and da braddaz over there always safe and courteous.

Super convenient place to throw away refuse, whether old household items/appliances, garden trimmings, or other rubbish except for certain items like old paint, used oil, old flourescent bulbs or flammable/explosive materials. It's free and open every day except for holidays. You're allowed to drop off 2 loads per day per household. The Convenience Center, also known as the Opala Center, is open from 7am - 6pm unless the dumpster bins are full before closing time, then the staff will refuse any further drop offs. FYI, the staff will not help you unload your vehicle.
