I was hit end of september and brought my car in early October. Absolutely no updates unless I called them, each time was a new lie. First my car is in painting and will be ready next wednesday. I call the next tues and find out that no it’s not being painted cuz they don’t have a fender to paint. Actually, they don’t have any parts for my car at all. I ask for a timeframe cuz at this point insurance isn’t covering my rental anymore and it’s been nearly a month in the shop with no progress. “we can’t give you any timeframe, it is what it is.” I had to start chasing parts. I needed a fender, hubcap, tire, chrome piece around my wheel, sidelight and a decal. Now yes, my fender was difficult to find, but there is NO reason why they couldnt have all the other parts IN HAND when i brought them the fender. (The other parts were not hard to find at all) So I found them the fender, hubcap, and tire and it’s been 6 weeks at this point. Still, they do not have the other parts or any timeframe. Dave said “i don’t have enough time for the cars on my lot, let alone one that’s 40yrs old.” If that’s the case, then why accept me at all? They also destroyed the tire we bought and insisted I needed to replace all my tires cuz they should be 15inches. Yet my rims are 14in, the hubcap and the tire is 14in. Since they are so inept, had to take my car on the donut to discount tire and they could easy put that 14in tire on my 14in rims. At this point, 7 weeks out and only progress is you painted the fender I found. And the paint job is horrendous! It’s bubbled! I could’ve done better with a spray can. They also glued my trim piece back on at an angle!! This shop will tell you “oh it’ll be ready on X day” and when you go to get it, it won’t! It will sit for months with excuses. So, I took it from the shop and have to complete work elsewhere. What a waste of time, money and effort. Completely unprofessional and doesn’t really seem to care about getting the job done quickly or accurately.
