A relative called earlier today to ask about a car they had purchased. Here's the thing though, they don't speak English, and the machine that answered had a Spanish option, so obviously they expected a Spanish speaking person to answer the call; an English speaker answered. That's not the problem though. The problem here is that they had asked for a Spanish interpreter, and they told them to wait a moment. I KID YOU NOT, they left them on HOLD for OVER TWO HOURS. Another thing you should know is that they close at 5, so they didn't even bother hanging up or just straight up tell them to call another time. Before they were put on hold, the call in total lasted about two or three minutes, so what we're dealing with here is that they seriously decided to leave my relative on HOLD for TWO HOURS AND FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THEY CLOSED. If you guys are too poor to pay an interpreter just say so.

Extremely disappointed with my experience with this copart location. (TL;DR - They damaged my vehicle and parts were missing when it was picked up and then refused to take accountability). IF YOU OWNER RETAIN YOUR VEHICLE AFTER AN INSURANCE SETTLEMENT, INSPECT CAREFULLY FOR MISSING PARTS AND EXCESS DAMAGE. Why? Let me break it down to you. My vehicle was deemed a total loss by my insurance company after an accident. While going back and forth with insurance negotiating a settlement, my vehicle was stored at copart awaiting the settlement. Once my settlement was finished with insurance, I returned to copart to pick up my vehicle since I wanted to keep it. At no point was my title signed over. Upon picking up the vehicle, I found there was damage underneath the vehicle that seemed to be caused by the front end loaders they use at the yard to move vehicles around. Additionally, critical drivetrain components were no longer on my vehicle and were simply "missing". Nowhere on the estimate of damages was this addressed. Even though they could see that there was some mild frame damage, they allegedly don't look underneath the vehicles. If you don't know much about vehicles, the frame is located under the vehicle... so therefore they would have had to look underneath. The parts that were missing and the excess damage would have immediately stuck out to any trained individual assessing damage on a vehicle, as these components are critical to the vehicles' operation. I brought this up with the GM, Rita Groves. I gave detailed descriptions and provided picture documentation. At this point she allegedly brought it up to the regional manager and they allegedly investigated themselves and found that they weren't liable. So now here I am. Just somebody who retained their vehicle after a wreck and the yard where it was stored damaged it even more than the accident did. The money to repair this excess damage nearly exceeds the cost it would have take to repair the damage originally done to the vehicle in the collision, therefore doubling my repair costs. All with absolutely zero accountability from the GM and allegedly the regional manager.
