Unfortunate and costly experience here. Was not able to diagnose the problem I had, and ended up with a 3 week back and forth to his shop, paying 10x for unnecessary repairs that i did not need for my car and ultimately did not solve the issue. Partly my fault because no other mechanics on the island were available, and I was on a time crunch to get my car fixed and this was the only shop available. Took it somewhere on the cape and the problem was diagnosed and fixed in 1 day. Probably a good shop for easy repairs like oil change or tire swap, not diagnostics.

Even though I had my 125,000 mile, 2013 Toyota Sienna checked by my hometown mechanic before we left, I had a breakdown here on Martha's Vineyard. "Joe" said I could bring it right in right away, which I did (on a Thursday afternoon). I was panicked he wouldn't get it done in time before our ferry on Saturday. But Joe made it happen, and repairs were done in less than 24 hours. I needed a new alternator and battery, and he checked everything else over too. Everything on the Island is expensive, but I thought the price for all the work was very reasonable.  Joe was honest,  reliable, and friendly. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Highly recommended!

Super responsive and had the car serviced with care and efficiency, allowing our guests to get back to enjoying their vacation the very same day; he even offered to come pick up the car and return it once fixed!
