The yard is well organized and easy to drive up and unload. Personnel in the yard are very helpful and willing to assist. The process is quite simple for common scrap; pull on the scale, wait for the green arrow, unload, return to scale and again wait for the arrow. Once this process is complete step into the office to give identification and collect your check. Please remember the prices are market based, the scrap yard will not pay you more for what they can sell per ton. If the price per ton is not suitable, research the market metal recycling values and wait for decent prices. They do not control the market at Kingston Iron.

Nice yard, decent prices, polite service only issue is that last load I ran had a fair amount of aluminum that was weighed separately and it seem to add up for price considering I got 7 bucks for right around a hundred lbs of dirty aluminum but got 3.50 for a radiator the day before just didn't seem right but if ypur not worried about separating your scrap then its an excellent yard for dropping off your scrap
