I tried to scrap a car here. Was told I had to drop it off because they could not pick it up. I drop it off later that day after they closed and called back first thing in the morning to try and proceed. At first they told me there is a lien on the car (there isn’t) then they told me it’s a stolen vehicle (it isn’t). Obviously they didn’t want to move forward with the transaction so I offered to come back and pick it up and they ended up calling the cops on me. I explained everything to the cops, they apologized and left. When I tried to go back and get my car, they had locked it behind a gate. A day later I went back at 6am, gate was open so I went to get my car, and they had taken stuff out of it. Finally got my car back but what a long strange trip this has been. 0/5 would not recommend!

Bought in cars before that where smashed down and they take them than I go and take in a car today and it's smashed and they won't take it cause if it's got motor and tires and axles it's a car like no shit but than tell me why the hell did you let us scrap the fuzz it was smashed down had a motor in it and all 4 tires and axles but yet won't let us scrap this car this isn't the first damn problem we have had here and to be honest me and my boyfriend and pretty fed up with this place and about to say screw alters y'all suck and go else where

I am pleased that they are cuttently paying $185 for scrap. Actually makes it worth the effort to bring scrap metals. I remember about 4 or 5 years ago when scrap was about $65 a ton. Nice people and easy to deal with. It's worth starting to collect again!
