Had a great experience at this location! Was looking to get brake pads and the handsome guy that helped me was excellent and went above the expectations of a napa parts employee! He helped me find and get the correct rotors as well. Store was very organized and easy to locate specific items. Only thing would be the entrance is kinda sketchy i almost tripped on the door frame walking in .

Very good service. They were able to find the part i needed. They didn't have it in stock however they were able to order it and have it to their store in less than 2 hours. I opted to pick it up at the Glencoe location but the ease of transaction and the friendly service will make me come back again.

Honestly the most incompetant, crooked, lazy and disrespectful employee. I get that he's a middle aged man angry about being a car parts bus boy, and the fact i make more in hour than he does in one day. But i was always respectful even though he has given me the wrong parts more than once. But this time i specifically came in with thr request for the starter i picked out online. Online it was 79.89 and the exact one i needed. He insisted that i get the more exspensive one, as thats what our local mechanic put in his truck which he said was the same make and model. I insisted i wanted the same one as the core i brought in. He said he would take %20 off if that helped. And stated it has a lifetime warranty. I asked if it had new bolts and he put my old core in the new box and took the box (i should of received.) I take my mountain bike back to my house 2 blocks away, try to install the new starter and it doesnt fit right and didnt engage properly. I could tell the starter was bad from the first time i turned the key over and it ground my flywheel. I took it out and put in 10 different times, which made the stickers fall off. Either way its a lifetime warranty so i went to exchange it, (2 blocks away on my bike since my truck wouldnt start) He then accused me of bringing in a different starter, stating i was trying to scam him. He tested the starter and refused to give me the correct one. Refused to return it. Refused to return my old starter. Then i do more research and call the previous owners and other local Napas, and they all said he has horrible customer service and complaints from alot of people on price gouging and incorrect parts. They also said theres stamps to prove the starter was theirs and could at least be exchanged but i should 0 wasnt going to tolerate it or leave without my money or a the correct part, he then said they dont have any cash in the till to pay me my refund. Then said they could write a check but were out of checks. And i would have to come back to get the check. So i get conned into accepting the wrong part, denied a refund, disrespected, and nowna ruined engine from damaged flywheel from the wrong starter. Then called named and discriminated against in multiple forms, my payment and hard earned money taken on put on hold to his descrestion on when or if i get it back. So all this wasted time and money and loss of my old working condition starter, i was simply replacing as a precautionary measure as im going on a trip. I then get the check after more disrespect and threats not to give it to me because i was respectfully showing him how obviously different the correct starter is from the wrong one he gave me. WHICH PROVES THAT I WASNT TRYING TO SCAM OR FRAUD Napa. First thing my lawyer said " How would you of brought a different starter if you were stranded without a vehicle, and if it was the wrong starter in the first place, and not identical to your core, then obviously you didnt swap them out of whatever vehicle the starter was for or if you magicallt had the same vehicle at your house 2 blocks away." Then the employee who i always see sitting around and never behind the counter, says im banned from Napa and that theres two different starters for those trucks and then writes me a check that was $4 short of my total purchase. I've already paid the filing fews and have my lawyer working on recovering damages done to his persistant incompetance. But the disrepct and discrimination is what to expect from Strange middle aged men who dont even know what a ground strap is. Ive seen this guy ignore the phone 7 times in 3 times i was there. And the corruption with prices and the scams him and a local mechanic put on our locals and the community...well thats all going to be exposed through IRS audits and lawsuits in the future. Ive never stolen a thing in my life, and actually work hard for my money.
