First time dropping off at this location after recently moving to the area. I avoided it for a while because of the low reviews and not wanting to waste my time driving to it to find out. BUT it was open and the bins were easily accessible. No problems recycling here and will return in a few months.

Actually I'm Stephanie O'Neal. I arrived at 12:20 today--a Friday--to find only one "comingled bin" (whose bright idea was that, anyway?) stuffed full, with lots of plastic bags containing recyclables included. This is a frequent occurrence. Why wasn't there a second bin, or a newly emptied one on this first day the center was open this week?? Why is there no permanent sign on site detailing what is accepted and where it should go? The online list obviously doesn't reach many people!

What a poor excuse for a public service. Only open for 4 hours 2 days a week. Is this what residents of Willard should expect to receive for the amount of taxes we pay? This facility doesn't have an attendant so there is no money being spent on an employee wage. So why not leave the gate unlocked so people of the community can actually access their recycling center? And don't use Covid as a lame excuse because really your increasing person to person contact by minimizing the hours of operation which in turn forces more people to gather at a time in that space than if you had more days and times available. Whose decision in willard was this? Chamber of Commerce or another group? Whoever it is needs to find another profession. Very poor public service representative.
