Great place to visit. excellent scenery when driving. Has places to stop, so you can take pictures on the drive. Excellent road to drive on very well maintained. Make sure to take a jacket. when we went up 70° at the start, clouds came in just before the top. Wind picked up, blowing good. Temp was 48°. Hard to see, but made it a great experience.

We visited this place twice in 2024 - early June and during fall colors season (mid-Oct). Words can't describe how amazing this place is! A definite must visit and the only place you need to see those spectacular fall colors! The car travel was steep towards the end and overall was a very unique experience!

Was $70 for 2 people (9/2025) and the car, so it is pricey but worth it. Can stay up top for as as u want until 6pm, can take the train up or down also. Tons of scenic photo spots, and the drive is a little SCARY. the road just drops away to half mile drop. Can park up top n hike tons of trails, they have AMAZING GIFT SHOPS all over the park. Amazing.
