Save your time and money by driving to South Glen's Falls Hiram hollow transfer station. Not only will they treat their customers with friendly and professional service but they will have you in and out quicker. Fort Ann transfer station has lost my business for many reasons. On multiple occasions they have over charged and billed us for the wrong weight that we had to catch in our own billing. I understand, everyone makes mistakes. But on a different occasion when I explained to a worker we didn't have time to wait for him to load a tractor trailer he started laughing and taking low blows. When I brought it to the managers attention; she tried to justify it as "we've never had this problem before"... Well I've never had a problem with a grown man acting arrogant and childish in a work place either. But she could have handled it much better. Fort Ann transfer shouldn't even have 1 star at this point. So pay less and get better service by going to Hiram hollow!

It's been years since I drove into the Fort Ann Transfer Station. In that time, the minimum fee to drop off garbage has risen from $36.00 to $91.78. If your dropping off small loads, I would recommend that you look for another transfer station.
