was less than satisfied with my initial experience.. pricing transparency is critical and needs improvement in some way. also slow sorted goods service long wait times. facility was clean and had adequate parking and room for manuvering a trailered vehicle

My wife took over 100lbs of clean Friskies cat food cans and beverage cans, which they classified as "unsorted," even though all the cans were completely sorted. They told her .67 per pound over the phone, but they gave my wife a check for a measley $22.10. Don't let them take your cans until you get a firm price for your cans, or better yet take them somewhere else. This business is run by pirates. In reply to their response: Friskies cat food cans are made from 100% aluminum. You can't get anymore more aluminum than that. So your explanation is just a poor excuse to cheat people out of the money they should receive for their aluminum scrap.

The staff is far beyond excellent!!! Prices are great and you won't find a cleaner yard! Don't have to worry about a flat tire when leave Alter!
