I read the reviews before taking my car to Indian Trail Imports, and they were spot on. I talked with both Josh and Rod, and they were super honest and easy to trust. After chatting with Josh, it was clear he wasn’t trying to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. Everything felt fair and straightforward. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Indian Trail Imports.

I had a slow coolant leak in my wife’s 2016 Mazda cx9 and brought it here to get checked out to find the issue fearing the worst. Unfortunately enough Josh called me and told me that it was a cracked cylinder head, he was very apologetic on the phone because he knew how costly the repair was. Given how old the car was I didn’t think about bothering calling Mazda. But Josh said if I was you I would really give them a call and just see if they’re doing anything to help people out that have this issue because he saw threads where Mazda was aware of the issue. Lo and behold Mazda did extend the warranties on our exact engine to 10 year 120k miles to cover the exact issue we were having. So now I’m getting it fully repaired at no cost. I would have never thought to call them without him telling me to. Saved me well over 5 grand. I cannot thank him enough. He could have easily just told me it is what it is and that been that. But he seemed to genuinely care. That’s rare for mechanics so he earned a future customer out of me for sure.

It's a rare thing indeed to find service excellence at an affordable price in any field. When you find it in car care for a foreign vehicle, it needs to be celebrated and shared. That's the experience I had with Indian Trail Imports and particularly with Josh. I commute once a week from Jacksonville, FL to Charlotte. My go to mechanic is at Jax Beach. I was traveling to CLT and the suspension in my 2012 X5 BMW (beloved Inge is her name) failed while I was driving on the highway. It felt like driving a stage coach on a rough road. I made it here and the issue continued to get worse. Not wanting to get ripped off by the dealership and needing to get her fixed quickly so I could return home, I started searching every source for a reliable, affordable, fast foreign mechanic shop. The top of the top ten based on raving reviews and checking for the fewest poor reviews was Indian Trail Imports. I called on a Thursday afternoon and asked if they could possibly fit me in on Friday morning. I explained my issue and they said they would do everything they could. I picked up a rental thinking it could be days. Friday afternoon Josh called and said they figured out the problem. A suspension bag had collapsed. They gave me a VERY fair price and I said "DO IT!" Josh called back to say it was ready. WOW! As I was driving to drop off the rental, he called to say it looked to be sagging on the fixed side. They were going back in. As we used to say say in the Army, attention to detail! The air line had been chewed by rodents. Not having a part they improvised a fix to secure the line so I could get home and get it fixed. He also let me know that I should keep an eye on my front suspension and educated me on what to be aware of and the range of costs to fix it. The next day, on a Saturday, he called to check if I made it home and if everything was running correctly. Come on people, is this guy for real??? Yep! Oscar Foxtrot Sierra (Out Fricking Standing) Josh and Indian Trail Imports Team. You are my new go to for all of Inge's maintenance. Thank You!!!
