Let me start by, getting over on people will never get you far and I now understand why the lot looks the way it does. This place is a NIGHTMARE and I can’t let this sit on my chest any longer. I came down from VA to visit family and had to drop my car off here due to the sounds I was hearing on my truck. Cornelius claimed that the noise was caused by a transfer case. I left my truck over the weekend while I went to Columbia, came back, and he gave me a wholeee list of other “problems”, such as the transfer case, engine mount, rack & pinion, steering joint, power steering line that needed to be fixed. I was blown away by this because when I got my truck inspected none of these “issues” were brought to my attention, HOWEVER, my family & I did what we needed to do to fix these “problems” and left my truck in SC for TWO WEEKS. Came back & he claimed everything was fixed, but my steering wheel was adjusted so crazy & my clock spring was broke. I couldn’t use any of the functions on the steering wheel (horn, answering the phone, cruise control, etc). When I brought this to Cornelius’s attention he said, I needed an alignment & clockspring and he would send me money to take care of it in VA since I could not and wouldn’t leave my truck there ANY LONGER. Long story shortened a bit, CORNELIUS GOT OVER ON ME AND MY FAMILY. His communication and compassion towards his “customers” IS STRAIGHT GARBAGE. HE WOULD NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, WOULD NOT GET BACK TO ME, AND KEPT GIVING THE RUN AROUND. NEVER RECEIVED THE MOMEY FOR THE ALIGNMENT AND CLOCKSPRING THAT HE BROKE, & MY TRUCK TO THIS DAY IS STILL MESSED UP DUE TO HIM. HE DIDN’T FIX NOTHING AND IM CONVINCED MY GOOD CAR PARTS WERE SWITCHED OUT AND HE MADE UP ISSUES SO THAT HE CAN FIX ALL THE OTHER CARS ON HIS LOT AND STILL GET MONEY WHICH WAS WELL OVER $2,500. I didn’t have all of these issues before dropping my truck off there so at this point I’m convinced. Please do not go here. I beg. I plead.

Our cars water pump broke down today on Savannah Hgwy. We pulled into a side street a man stopped offering to contact his friend Cornelius who had a garage down the road. Cornelius came within minutes diagnosed the problem and gave us a quote. He then went and got his trailer to tow the car to his shop. We had told him we were headed to Harvest Moon Grill for dinner when this happened. He had his son give us a ride to the restaurant and then come back and get us. When we got back the car was fixed and we were ready to go. These men went above and beyond to help us and we are truly grateful. If you need a mechanic please consider this business. It was top notch service! Thank you again Cornelius.

I would highly recommend to never use this company. Cornelius is the least caring owner that I’ve ever met. I came down from Michigan to purchase a vehicle and originally he sold me a Ford escape with a transmission blown. He told me that for 2 to 3 weeks he drove the same vehicle yet had no problems however I had to pay fire stone to get an inspection to find out that the car was actually at Lemmon. He argued and was not willing to give me a refund however gave me another vehicle that he incorrectly filled out the title for and I am unable to register in my home state. I would highly recommend against doing business with Cornelius or this company they truly do not care about anything but themselves and profit
