Update: Several neighbors have told me they've gone by here and Allen was just as described! Amazing. Support small business, support Allen! I'm in the automotive industry because of the bad rep it has. I think Allen is, too. Turning that negative situation into a positive experience! Searched for an RV parts store that wasn't a big nasty corporation that also sold RVs. He came up and was doable on my lunch break. Called ahead bc it said he does mobile repairs, left a message. He immediately returned my call, told him my issue, my toilet model and he said he had what I needed. Boom. Off to see the wizard! 12 minutes later I met Allen. Instantly liked him. Not only did he have exactly what I needed but he showed me the best way to do it right the first time. I also got another needed item. I'll need to take some things over to match up and purchase from him. He's comparable to Amazon without the wait, and you're supporting small business! You need it? He's either got it or can get it. With a SMILE! He's awesome. Knowledgeable. Go see Allen. He will knock your socks off! My first inside water break story below: I woke to walk the dog a bit before midnight, came back maybe 15 minutes later to water gushing out of the bottom of my slides. Half asleep and panicked I ran inside rather than shut the city water off first... ALWAYS SHUT THE WATER OFF FIRST! I almost electrocuted myself. About 4 inches of water going out my slides and the feeder hose to the toilet was waving around like those air puppets at every cell phone store. Nightmare! Threw some towels over the water and ran outside to shut the water off. Tried getting all the water up but it just kept coming from the bathroom. Still panicked but wide awake now, went outside and nose dived the RV. Thank goodness I did, all the water went out the front slide. The feeder line quick connect just blew apart. Looking back, thankfully this happened while doing the midnight dog walk and not five minutes after I left for work the next morning. The first go at it, I immediately flooded my bathroom again. Dried that mess, heaters on full blast again .. Gave up, went to bed. Since I had a new valve sitting around for 2 years just in case a winter freeze or break occurred I decided to change that as well. Now my leak(s) are no more. I have running water again, can shower can drink water, can make ice to drink cold drinks again. Can use the bathroom and brush my teeth! Working out of a water bucket the last 2 days was meh, doable, survived worse. But got it done. I used one of my cameras to watch it this time while I slowly turned the water back on from outside. Just in case, I did have both sinks open on cold just to alleviate the pressure of turning the city water back on. Didn't want to blow out my new plumbing repair. Who knows how much I saved. Took less than an hour to fix myself. I can fix vehicles, electrical, ac... New to plumbing. Wish I had known about Allen Thanksgiving when my city water check valve broke. I know where to go now. Five stars all the way around. Our air conditioner in our Fifth Wheel stopped working while we were visiting San Antonio. My husband went to the shop to get help and Allen came out that afternoon to check the AC unit. It turned out that we needed a new AC unit. Allen immediately put in an order and called us when the unit came in. We parked in the lot and Allen was able to get the new unit set up and working in 2 hours. Allen is very knowledgeable and helpful. He definitely earned our business and we will be coming back. It will be worth a trip from Austin to have Allen help us with any future issues. Thank you
