My engine went out on me while going down the highway and I did not have towing as part of my insurance. Lakeshore Auto was nearby and I found them on Google. They were able to call a tow for me that was reasonably priced. They were very communicative throughout the diagnoses and repairs process. The engine was blown and instead of having it repaired, I started the process of scrapping the vehicle. They were kind and patient as I was able to leave the vehicle on their lot for roughly 2.5 weeks while I found a buyer and had to get a replacement title. Lakeshore only charged me for the tow and diagnostics which were reasonably priced. It's not often you leave a car repair experience feeling good even after really bad news. Also, it's a small family-owned business...always support local.

I can’t say enough good things about Lakeshore Automotive. From the moment my car was towed there with AAA, they were patient, professional, and incredibly helpful. I was able to leave my car on their lot for two days without any issues. A special shoutout to Carl, Brian, and the two technicians who worked on my vehicle, what a fantastic team. They inspected my car, replaced my battery terminals, and even allowed AAA to drop off a new battery under my AAA warranty. They made sure the battery was installed correctly and ran a full inspection to confirm everything was in great condition. The price was beyond fair, especially given the care and attention they put into the work. I also want to highlight how comfortable and respected I felt—if you’re a woman or a young professional, you can trust this place. They treat you honestly, explain everything clearly, and never talk down to you. I will absolutely be going back to Lakeshore Automotive for any future work I need. Highly recommended! 10/10

Other than the 2 week wait time on getting our vehicle back due to diagnosing the issue and waiting on parts, once all was figured out and parts arrived, all was well. We do appreciate how Franklin kept us up to date on everything and explained in detail on the problem/problems with our Jeep. They did allow us to use a loaner vehicle for the 1 week we didn't have a car to borrow. Franklin was very nice and friendly and did all he could to make the cost the least he could. We will be taking our vehicle there for future service.
