avoid these people!!! sandra or whatever her name was, is very rude. had my car for a week to try fixing without having to buy the part. didnt work. she told me i had two options. pay $1300 or sell my car. tried to lie to me and tell me that the part i needed was $1000. i know better. the job i needed done, i got done for $730 as expected by a different shop. good try tho guys.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!Traveling thru Salem to Richmond for Christmas, mark at Salem imports changed my oil.in Richmond that next morning after driving at night I smelled oil and smoke. Checked the dipstick and my oil was way over filled!. Called mark and said drain the oil at an oil change service. I did andbefore I got there my enjoy light came on and my engine started skipping . They took out almost 2 pints. Mark said the oil will burn off on the spark plugs. I traveled back to Florida and it’s still skipping and rough. Mark then tells me that those sparks plugs have a different metal at tip and won’t burn off! Says he is not responsible now. So I will take to a reputable Mercedes mechanic and have my attorney sue for the funds and distress.

This kind of shop doesn’t exist any more. Mark and Sandy are wonderful people, and Mark is a talented and highly experienced mechanic. They were incredibly helpful, generous, flexible with timing, and saved us (three times!) to keep a trip going with our old Vanagon. I wish we lived closer, as this place is simply a gem. Thanks again both of you!
