They do not open at 9:00. At nine, they close the gate, and start doing everything they should’ve done to get ready for their customers. Sitting here now at 9:20 with eight cars behind me and gates still closed. Don’t plan your day around them respecting your time. - make that 9 cars.

Went to the Dallesport location because I’ve had so many problems with the BZ location. Google said they’re open today (Sunday). I’m here and they’re closed. I should mention I’m only here because Republic reduced their recycling pickup to once per month. I’ll now spend more of my Sunday driving all the way back to BZ, where I’m sure they’ll be on late lunch or there’ll be some other problem. This company is the worst and beyond exasperating. UPDATE: as you’ll see from the response below, the company read my review and still hasn’t corrected their hours of operation in their listing, which was the main complaint and would have taken less time to fix than it took to craft their boiler plate response.

The Dalles Transfer Station runs circles around this place. If Republic Services had any decency, they would fire every employee here. SHUT IT DOWN! The residents deserve better. Shame on Republic Services.
