I walked into the store with a battery from my wife's car. It had all the specifications and details on the battery. I put it on the counter and said, I needed a replacement battery. The clerk looked at the battery and ask me some questions about the car, which I answered. He asked me another question about the particular model of car, and I didn't know, but I said the battery is right here. In a very dismissive tone, he said, "So, you don't know which sub model it is." He was rude, and he made me feel stupid and bad. After some uncomfortable talk and not being able to find the right battery, I left. With so many other choices, I will never walk into that store again.

They have a great selection of high quality parts. That's what's most important. However, the staff are very serious and offer limited guidance. They expect you to know the exact part that you need. It's not necessarily a bad thing if you know what you need, but the atmosphere certainly isn't approachable for those with less knowledge of parts. For example, they tried to special order an expensive $40 agricultural grade bearing for my very basic 4 cylinder car's idler belt pulley, but after I inquired about why multiple times, they finally said a normal bearing would work just fine and it happened to be in stock for $12. I feel like they were trying to upsell me and take advantage of my limited knowledge.
