Ehere do I dispose of all my alkaline batteries - AA and AAA? I don't want to pay for a high-cost annual sticker at the transfer station jsut for this. My local senior center gave me Devens' number. They only have a pre-recorded message on it with no one answering. I couldn't understand the woman's voice to get their website. I googled them and I'm getting nowhere. They specifically list that they DO NOT accept alkaline batteries! I wish this were easier. Seems like disposing of the batteries should be just as easy as buying them is. But it ain't! This is why people just throw things in the trash - because they get nowhere trying to dispose of them properly. So I still have nowehere to get rid of them.

Great place for getting rid of some construction debris. All the employees seem friendly enough. I was in and out with no problems. Credit cards for payments only, but it is what it is.
