An older man and another employee greeted my husband this morning, according to my husband the older man was discouraging of us bringing our items and the other man said to bring them. We brought our items later in the day ( a FULL flat trailer of bags.) The same discouraging older man came out and told us “you should’ve come earlier our cash is low go to Temecula” with attitude. He did say “Sorry” with the same snarky attitude and smirk on his face. They’re open until 4:00… we showed up at 2:00. Still plenty of time if you ask me and mind you there wasn’t anyone else there so it’s not like they were busy.

I live near Hwy 15 & 76 so this transfer station is closer to me than the Fallbrook transfer station downtown. It was my first time there and it was not busy at all. The guy even helped me unload and both gentlemen were extremely nice. I will be coming here from now on.

While unloading my trailer I was conversing with an employee. He was friendly, and pointed out where various items were to be put. I was unloading palm fronds and he noticed my arms were bleeding from being scratched by them. He walked away and what appeared to be the supervisor came out and told me they weren’t taking palm fronds and that I would have to crawl into the dumpster and remove them. I said I would not. He called tribal police. I’m 63 and I crawled in an removed them. Obviously I won’t discourage anybody from using that facility.
