This place is set up well to make your visit a pretty quick one. It's kept very clean as well. People working there are very nice folks with the exception of one. But he pretty much stays to himself. All the others seem to be great guys!

The Thornton transfer station has some wonderful people there! Kevin who has been there forever I think is such a nice man so helpful he gives the kids gummy treats and the dog's treats. He has helped me immensely whether it's taking the trash out of the car or helping me bring something home I'm looking for a lawn mower for me. All of them up there are great people

It's a good facility and the folks working there are great. But it has one major problem: they send way too much recyclable material to landfill - especially many plastics and any card and paper except corrugated. In this day and age, this is unacceptable.
