Pawtucket residents can still bring a few bags of trash and other items to dispose of here. Only the commercial portion is closed, so you cant fill up a whole truck and bring it on the scale any longer.

Place isn't bad. Went on a Saturday morning long line to get in and out. But that's not their fault. They need to wight your car going in and coming out and they only have 1 weigh station so both entering and exiting need to take turns, causing a delay. keep in mind the place was not originally build to be a dump and they are short staffed. Spent about 20-30 minutes to get in, 10 minutes to unload trash, and another 20-30 minutes waiting in line to pay and leave. don't know what its like weekdays. They charge $50 per ton for RI residential. I rented a box truck from Home depo and loaded it with furniture and trash and it cost me $35 to dump it.

Been there dozens of times. I AM A RESIDENT. Extremely rude guy, wouldn't let me dump last time, said I was not a resident, wouldn't accept proof...I had to go to mayors office and DPW to protest. Inconsistant protocols. Absolutely, rudest people. Worst service. You will get harassed for your well paid tax dollars here. These people need to be replaced asap. Terrible, terrible experience.
