So, bit on a long story but here goes. Live about 5 miles from the shop. Right after they had just opened my car battery was dead and I needed a jump. I called and they came over and got me started right up. To my horror I only had $8 cash on me. No problem they said. About a year goes by and now I have a vintage RV. It died in a busy intersection. Had it towed over to their shop figuring I owed them some business after their good deed to me. They had my RV up and running in 3 days. Took 2 days for the ordered part to come in. Not bad at all for a 1978 van. They sorted out the issue, inspected the vehicle for me, and I was on the road for a very reasonable sum. Two weeks later I’m back to the shop after a deer hit me coming home from a trip. The guys give it a look over and agree with my hopeful wish that the damage is all cosmetic. They tell me what to keep an eye on just in case and off I go at no charge. I tipped them for their time. Glad to have a new shop close to home that does good work at fair prices.

Actually messed with my catalytic converter & my O2 sensor. I assume that he would have claimed that I needed a NEW catalytic converter, charged me for a new catalytic converter, then just monkey with the original one til it kinda worked again. ( Did similar acts of vehicle vandalism to two other people that I know. One guy finally traded his in. I had to junk mine, with only 68,000 miles on it, because of them. Because of these acts of vandalism, to the nicest vehicle I ever owned, I was not able to say goodbye to my Father on his deathbed or visit my brother when he recently had a brush with death. They keep reincorporating to avoid any culpability, but wouldn’t it be nice if the New York Stare Attorney General intervened? Mechanics are supposed to fix your vehicle’s, not vandalize them. (I get enough of that from my In Laws!

This shop is simply the best in all of America! I moved to Ohio and I still bring all my vehicles to him for anything and everything. I literally paid over $1000 in towing to have Andrew look at my truck when my motor went bad. He went above and beyond getting it replaced fast and the low price shocked me. I’ve also brought him my truck thinking my transmission is shot, but no, he worked his magic, got me going fast and didn’t charge me a dime. Andrew is a true genius. He’s honest and cares about his customers. You will do yourself and your vehicles a disservice if you don’t use his shop. I’m having issues with my Audi now and guess where I’m bringing it….Only to the best shop I can think of, Chaffee Rt16 Auto!
