The limited hours make it impractical. Half the time I try to go to the dump it’s closed. Why is it not open at all on Sunday? The equipment is already paid for, the land is set aside, we've all got custom trash bags (paid by check), and we're sorting our own recycling (not single stream), but facility isn't staffed. Give some high school kids a weekend job. Staff it.

We have lived in Bolton for over 20 years and receive good service when at the transfer station. There's recycling bins and options for larger items for a small fee, donate area for gently used but working items and pick up if you want it, donation bins and rubbish drop off bins with a fee per bag. Tickets can be easily purchased from one of our wonderful staff and placed on the bag.
