I have done business with Allied Auto Salvage for the past 4 years at least once a week and they are always so helpful and knowledgeable. I would not go anywhere else to handle my business whether it is selling to them or buying parts from them. Hats off to all the great employees at Allied Auto Salvage!
It's a big yard...it seemed organized and taken care of...the map that's on their website is accurate..we found exactly what we wanted to and you can take pretty much anything you want as far as tools... And they provide a wheel barrow if needed.. they are located in the right after entering..you don't need to ask you can just use and I'm assuming you have to return back and empty. Prices are a bit high for parts you have to remove yourself...and it being a junk yard... Go early because lines to pay get really long after 10am....OH AND THERE ARE HILLS big ones...and that's the reason I gave it 3 stars..

Only giving one star because You have too. If I could, I would give them negative a million at least. We took my wife's car in for an ignition sensor. Seemed simple enough. We were told it was going to take a day. Four days and several suggested/changed parts later (including the starter), we were told the power steering pump was bad and that they took it upon themselves to switch it out on their own accord. Looking at the power steering pump, we noticed the reservoir had no fluid in it so they put some in. At this point, they said our battery was no good. This was the final straw! I asked them to show me the battery. Looking at the battery, I new it was not our recently purchased battery making me wonder what was really going on. When I demanded my original battery, they brought me two options. I recognized ours immediately and made them put it back in my wife's car. Upon further inspection we realized that the water pump looked off, as it was changed out with a new one about a year ago. It is my opinion, that they have completely helped themselves to parts of our car, swapping out bad/used parts for our newer/better parts. They would not allow us to take the car without paying $400 for "the work that was completed". I would never suggest this place to anyone, including my worst enemy. If you absolutely have to utilize this place, be sure to take stock of your existing parts!!! They are swindling people, and should not be in business. BEWARE!!!!
I went to this place for a brake and light inspection after I got rear ended. First they said my brake rotors were under spec. I had checked this along with brake pads and brake fluid before I came. When I disputed his claim he said they weren't under spec but needed to be turned and my brake pad were bad, he also failed my fog lights because they were painted over (he did offer to write up an estimate to do a full brake replacement). I left replaced my front rotors and turned my back ones double checked my brake pads and cleaned the paint off my fog lights and went back. The second time he passed my brakes but failed my light inspection because my fog light had a pin hole from a rock chip in it ( the lights work no problem). I called a few other shops and the CHP who all told me the hole in the fog light would not cause the car to fail. He ended up refunding my money and I went a few streets over and it passed. Don't waste your time or money on this place it's a rip off.
