I hired the Junk Wizards to clean out the garage at my grandmothers old house after her passing. The garage had been shut for about 10 years, and was so full of old stuff we couldn't even walk in there. They responded very quickly to my quote request and were very reasonably priced. They kept in contact with me the day of as well. When they showed up, the garage had a rat infestation, and was very dirty with rodent droppings that we didn't know about. The Junk Wizards still kept true to their quoted price and cleaned everything up for us. I contacted Jess on a Monday and Tuesday morning they fit me into their schedule to pick up my kitchen remodeling debris. David & Fernando showed up at the designated time and did a superb job picking up everything and then even cleaning up the area. They were both super friendly & accommodating. They even double checked and swept the area a third time. I would highly recommend this service. They are reasonably priced, do a great job and they are licensed and insured and have great attitudes. My parents passed away and left me a big house full of stuff. Let me start by saying that my parents NEVER threw anything away. I was completely overwhelmed and didn't know what to do or even how to begin. I called Valenzuela Services and got in touch with Julian. He was very responsive and addressed all my concerns. He arrived on time and went to work immediately. He kept me posted on everything...each haul to the dump and how much each load weighed...he worked 2 full 10 hour days and I never saw him take a break. He was super supportive, understanding and respectful with the situation I was in. He asked me about things as he found them that he thought I would find important for my family history or that would be valuable. He did excellent work in a timely fashion and still managed to make me laugh as we were throwing out literally 20,000 pounds of furniture, clothes, dishes, garage items etc...I could not have asked for a better experience in an unpleasant sad time in my life. Standard Industries has been the best recycling place I've been to. Sometimes it's a little busy, sometimes not like today. The service is 5 star. The guys who handle the weight scales are always polite & helpful. The cashiers are also very nice. If you live in the Ventura area, don't bother going to the other recycling places. Standard always gives me above average money for my recycled cans & bottles.
