So - I buy a 74 VW Thing from a place in St Louis, MO and ship it to Palm Springs, CA sight unseen. I chose it based on the overall condition of the body, maintenance history and appearance, but expected to have to have the engine and other stuff overhauled.A friend recommended French’s and I connected with Derek, who did a comprehensive diagnostic and ultimately advised me to let him do a full engine overhaul. I did and I am so glad.French’s is a no-frills, old-school shop, but you can feel the passion they have for old VW’s and that there is nothing they haven’t seen before or don’t know how to fix. I was in frequent contact with Derek, who told me much more than I could understand about the issues and what he wanted to do. I completely trusted him from the get-go. For me the most important thing for an old but fun car is reliability - if you are scared to drive it for fear it will break down it completely defeats the purpose. I now have that reliability with what is effectively a brand new engine.Old car renovations are not cheap, but finding a reliable & honest place is the key and I feel good about what I got for my money.I’m sure i’ll need their help again and suspect i’ll be a regular customer.

In my fifteen years of working in the automotive business I have never experience poor customer services at this location. I purchased a battery from them earlier this month to try to start my car to get to work. When I got to the car they give me the wrong battery. It that didnt fit right it is car so I had to modifie my car to try to make it work, napa was closed so I could not get the right one. After fighting the installation of the battery I just decided to go to o'reilly and get the right one. And now I went to return the battery to napa and they say they could not return it because it was installed. And they don't return electric parts if they been installed. So pretty much I got a 200 dollar battery that i don't need.I would suggest that napa auto parts in yucca valley be your last call when looking for auto part. Frist they can not give you the right parts and then they wont own up to there mistake. And the battery I did get was 15 dollar less then Napa.

Steven the manager was helpful. My daughter had some new very loud noise that was unknown & very unpleasant to deal with while driving her car. She explained what was going on to Steven? He listened patiently. He asked a few questions & determined the issue was one of her calipers had gone bad. He looked the part up & gave us the cost & was ready to order them right away but we didn't know which side of the car the issue was on so we will need to go order as soon as we can look into it.Also, we arrived close closing time. What noticeably stood out to me while we looked around was that weren't being given an unwelcome vibe or starred down rudely like you usually get at any other store when closing time is approaching. Not once did we feel rushed. It was much appreciated. We left about 10 minutes before they were due to close.Never had bad service at the Yucca Valley Auto Zone. Steven was very knowledgeable in identifying the car issue & explaining in detail what that part is responsible for & why we need it. The staff there is always friendly

I don't leave alot of good reviews but this guy definitely deserves one, J is awesome super good dude, up front and honest about everything, I called he gave me a price and a time line and got me in the next day. Not only did he show up sooner so we could drop the truck off but he also got it done almost an hour sooner and it looks amazing would 10/10 recommend!

I can’t tell u how helpful John has been to me. He was recommended to me as someone who could help me with some issues I was having with my all original ‘73 ranger (1 of 39.) And he went over and above my expectations. He demonstrated amazing customer service by leaving me confident I didn’t just represent an opportunity to make him some money... but that in his eyes I’m someone who needed help & answers, & his time was available for that. Pretty disappointed. Bought my first Subaru literally 3 days ago from this dealership. Took the car right away to the car dealership just to do a check to make sure everything was ship shape. Well the dealership let us know that the car was leaking oil out of the top end of the car and that it’s going to cost $3,500 to reseal that this car dealership did a great job cleaning up all the old oil as well has gaskets on the ac which are also leaking. Safe to say just another used car lot with a nice smile and very unfortunate bite.

I was driving into Joshua Tree from LA and saw this perfect old 2002 Nissan Frontier for sale out front Ultimate Motors. The guys from the shop where selling it so I bought it from them. They are a great group of guys. A week later the car was having some overheating issues. So I brought the truck back to them and they quickly found the problem and installed a new radiator in the truck for free. These guys stand by their work and are honest and straightforward.

I was forced to use this monopoly for trash services for my shared Airbnb by San Bernardino County! I have had this service for 8 months - during that time they have missed picking up my bins 4 times (1 month) out of those 8 months yet they charge me for the whole 8 months. I have called to ask them to pick up the bins they always say they will send a driver out but they never do until the next pick up date! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and I was doing a better job of running trash to the dump before I was forced to use this garbage of a company!Service: House & garage cleanouts

This company is great. Came to pick up a ton of junk from a renovation project, day after I called. Probably would’ve done it the day of if I’d needed them to. They disassembled a huge metal shed in under 20 minutes with basically they’re bare hands. They took everything away and were done in under a half hour.
