On the day of the appointment, Joe the wrecker called. He had conveniently waited until the last second to tell me his ridiculous rate... he charged me $350 to have my pick up truck towed 3 miles... It was not an emergency... It was normal business hours... The pick up was not in a dangerous location, it was in a safe empty parking lot.... $350???He said it was a flat rate and he wouldn't charge me extra for mileage.... What a guy!!!Last year when I used another local wrecker to tow the same pick up truck, twice the distance. They charged me $180... Half the price...If you are smart you will call around, and don't always follow your mechanics recommendations...Service: Car towing
