Great experience! Anton was friendly and helpful in the removal of a number of old filing cabinets, shelves & tables! Pick up was timely within a couple of days of my call and the guys who came to remove the scrap metal were kind and courteous! I've been going there since I was in highschool back in the late 90's. Nice people, and the prices are fair. I bought a transmission from them one time, and it turned out to be a dud. They made absolutely sure the second one was good, and they warrantied it 100%. That was two years ago and it still shifts fine.

I had asked if they had junkyard parts online, due to fact they won't allow anyone to freely look around. The office attendant responded to go to carparts.com. I had asked carparts.com if they had a portal to Lajoie's auto & scrapyard for viewing, and the site assistant has no records of Lajoie scrapyard.

I like this place had alittle issue as far as what was insulated copper wire. One of the guys just put everything together and only gave me 55 cents a pound I called arther the manager he reviewed the tapes a gave me an extra 40 bucks and it's the third time it happened but besides that. There pretty good. If the skinny black guy is doing ur metal. Very fair and will answer any questions u may have. Bc if ur not knowledgable to what things are going for like anything else thell take advantage so know b4 u go. But def a good plAce they will guide u and help u unload and u will get a ticket and on there will b everything u brought and the price they gave u
