I called to check on a part was told they would check on it and call me back. It was late and I didn’t hear anything so the next afternoon I called back and was hung up on twice by Chris. This was very rude.This is an update on the first review I gave this company. Since then I have talked to Chris and there seem to have been a misunderstanding on the phone calls, where I thought he was hanging up on me he actually could not hear me talking. I am updating from the one star to five stars because of the response from Chris and also speaking with him on the phone.

Would og gave 5 stars but i had surgery and the check cam only go in the persons name the title is on ..alot of people lost if and need that money . so with a email consent form the person on the title should be able to give permission for it to be in somone elses name .. I am reminded sometimes why some industries are just 3rd rate, 2nd class. I've literally only been to JCD once before, years ago. I just don't typically have a lot of metal to recycle. Well, I went again today, to recycle a bag of old trampoline springs. Probably about 20 lbs, so worth maybe $5. Still though, it was my $5. When I approached the man at the back of the building (with the red N. Oconee jacket), he asked if I wanted to get rid of the springs (duh, why do you think I'm here). He said I wouldn't get much for them, and I said that's fine. He proceeded to toss them in a bin, shake my hand, and say "have a nice day." I decided not to press for my money. Any business that assumes that I drove all the way to them only to give them something for free and not at least offer me money for my goods (regardless of how much), isn't worth my time. And they aren't worth yours.FYI - I had plans to drop that $5 off with a homeless guy who's been hanging out behind the Loganville Racetrac. Oh well.

Saw an advertisement for a transmission from a Dodge pickup truck, the man selling it from McDaniel Auto parts said it had a 30 day guarantee. I went and bought it, got the paperwork showing a 30 day guarantee and then installed it. The PUMP was bad and it did NOT push fluid. As you might know, that's PRETTY important to a transmission.I called him 5 times trying to get my money back. The answer I always got was "I don't have that money". He offered to let me trade it back in on other merchandise, but since I live in Tennessee and it's such a long drive, that's a complete waste of time.I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from McDaniel auto parts. They are not interested in giving you your money back if it's junk. I removed the transmission from the truck and ended up having to spend a lot more money on a completely different until because I couldn't trust that the unit was good. VERY FRUSTRATING, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL REFUND. I notice that he no longer advertises a warranty on his parts, that's because the yard is very old. BUYER BEWARE, you buy it, you own it from this guy... VERY DISHONEST MAN.
