I would definitely recommend NOT going to advance auto parts in Lake Zurich. I went there, guessing I needed a new battery. They said I did. First he put in a battery, that wasn't even charged. Then put another battery in, and said there was something else wrong with my car, to go to Firestone in Lake Zurich. Used to be pull your own part, now they won't sell you anything small whatsoever. No brackets no switches no screws no panels nothing Don't bother going here for any of that stuff they won't pull it for you. Shame. The stuff they do pull they add a premium for pulling it and don't take any care when doing so. They'll hand you a busted part and still charge you. I'll save my money for eBay or take a short drive to one of the many other yards.

Sent one of my employees in to see if they would return a battery that was picked up only a few days ago. Battery had not been installed in the truck we decided to get rid of the truck. Rather than simply saying they could not accept the return they laughed at my employee and embarrassed him. As a Lake Zurich Business owner I will never return to this place and will be sure to spread the word of the way you treat customers.
