Mark goes out of his way to help his customers. Always my first call when I am asked by a friend or colleague for a referral for used auto parts.

I’ve dealt with Modern many times in the past for specifically VW and Audi parts. They will always seem to take the time to look for the hard to find items that sometime are things that would get crushed and thrown away that are still quite expensive items. Most yards won’t take the time to take them off and sell them to you. Jason particularly went the extra mile at the end of a day to get pictures of an item to make sure it was correct and then I had it in one day! Thanks a lot guys!

Ok place. Prices are ok. Parking is so so. People seem nice. Wheel barrows are around. Not the biggest yard. Closed on Sundays.Block from the over priced and over fee Pick and Pull. Right by the tracks,Prices are not listed so you have to ask. Related to Taylors Auto Salvage and Speedway in East St Louis.

If you need a part or a part they have already pulled and ready, this is your stop. Great luck with car parts and such. Got my reverse lens for my car at a fantastic price. Also I was treated so kindly. The place I called before this company was so rude. Hillsdale made it all so easy. They now have a customer for life :)

Kinda lack on the customer service priority. Was greeted, but then they took a call and ignored me for 10 minutes. Once call was over they did get my parts quickly.

Kinda of like the wild west thier. When you get thier not even sure where to park or your even at a yard much less a construction site. Check out the orginal Sugar Shack about 10-15 minutes away too.Place is semi organized. Most Chevy trucks are missing the LS engines Lots of Cobalts and HHR's. Prices aren't marked anywhere, so you never really know if your getting charged right.Half the size of the yard is blocked off / where they crush cars. Lots of tires with wheels on them to choice from if you know what they came off. The ydo sell misc odds and ends scrap like garden tractors but Taylor seems to be the one to give he prices and not thier on Sundays.Kinda of watch where you park as someone will easily block you in and good luck find who did that in the yard.Spots aren't marked and since its kinda of out of site of staff it be easily to break in, steal cats ect out of cars thier. I strongly suggest parking where you have room so no one else can get close, park farther away from place or park diagonally. I was pretty close to being blocked in. People park any where or how the want. They are also related to Speedway in East St Louis and the yard (by the over priced with to many fees Pick and Pull) Riverside Salvage Inc ( closed on Sundays).

I agree with the previous person, there is no way this place has a consumer rating higher than a 1 star. I waited over a week for my order to be shipped and they couldn't even produce a tracking number or knew who was shipping the item. Only thing consistent was we will get back to you in two or three days, we will have the tracking number then. I think they are possibly part of the Blaze Auto Parts scam.
Went in paid for a driver door, they told me 2 hrs. which turned into 24 hrs. I called after 8 hrs of waiting just to a sales rep with an attitude. Then called again at 4:30 just for them to oh it will be next day. Came next day to pick up door it was the wrong one as well as the wrong color. I’m so shocked that the internet hasn’t run this company out of business. I mean how could it possibly take 2days to take off a door with 4 screws 🤷.

Better price than we had gotten at the other place we have been going to, workers were polite and very helpful unloading the truck. This place was open when literally no where else was; and they are open an hour later on a daily basis than the place we had normally been going to... The yard was picked up, no trash or nails, etc. Very impressive and much appreciated. Will be going several times in the future.

Had a motor listed at $1750 and I called to buy. They proceeded to raise the price that was listed on Car-parts.com from $1750 to $2000. Very dishonest way to conduct business. Girl was rude and said price was wrong on car-parts according to the boss.
I called the number because according to the reviews they have sold parts for a car to a previous customer. Well as soon as I told the woman I was calling to see if they had a particular part I needed, I got “No, we do not have part. No, we do not sell parts” isn’t that the whole point of a salvage yard 🤨 like the actual definition of it.
The man on the phone sounded very condescending. Learn people skills so you can talk on the phone to people.

They had exactly what I needed and at a very fair price. Not to mention they did all the work of removing the part . Plus threw in another small little part I needed for my truck for free. Very friendly employees and the boss was pleasant as well.
They have older parts that's hard to find
