Woman at the front desk was very unpleasant, snippy. Had 10 signs scattered everywhere “must wear a mask no exceptions” but upon walking in all the employees didn’t have masks. The part was great and worked fine. The price was fair. Other than the lady up front great place!
I would never bring my car anywhere else! I have a very old BMW 525i and have had several different problems with it & many things done at this shop. They fix everything so quickly, do an awesome job for a great price. They really know what they are doing are very trust worthy and have a lot of experience fixing all types of cars. Thanks Hot Auto!

Rob is wonderful. I think I may have been a PITA for a couple of days. My 2018 Jeep grand Cherokee was sold on a Thursday. The gentleman was coming back Friday to pick up & pay. Three hrs later, I hit a post and needed BOTH driver side doors. I was beside myself. Rob worked hard to find me both doors and what a price!!! They have not been delivered yet but once they are, I'll update as to condition of doors. Thanks Rob!
I have been scrapping for a long time and its time to say this scrapyard has the best employees, everyone is helpful and makes it enjoyable, also they do a good job in the yard trying to keep it clean, safe and organized, there is a young guy out there controlling the flow doing a amazing job.
A very honest used car company- for once! I was looking for a long time for a decent used car. Couldn't find one on fb sale sites, craigslist, and all other dealers around here were rude! We came here by fluke and the guy is straight forward. Let's you test drive the car. We even put a computer to it to test it. The Jeep I got was perfect and a steal! Great deal $1,500 for it! Not a lot of miles, no rust. I love my Jeep. My fiances mother and father also got their Dodge Durango from there and they love it as well.
Empire is the ONLY scrap yard I will use in the Syacuse area. They are clean, professional and honest. Friendly staff and good prices.

Address:1810 Lemoyne Ave, Syracuse, NY (Zipcode: 13208)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedAlways been happy with their service; however I'm here at 4:32 pm to return a core part and their website & voicemail both say they are open until 5 pm! I'm 35 minutes away and am a bit frustrated.
My son blew the engine in his old and tired 2007 Sonata. The recycling center in Solvay would give me about $170 based on the car's weight if I payed to have someone tow it in, while also having the gas tanked drained and then punctured with a large hole. They gave me the referral to Coastal and I spoke with Mike yesterday around 11am. His guys ended up being too busy to grab the car the same day. This morning, at the agreed upon time of 10:30am on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, his guy was promptly on time at my mechanics place of business . He backed the flatbed up and before he winched the car up we exchanged the signed title and keys for $230 in cash. The gentleman also helped me yank off the old plates after I had forgotten to bring the proper type of screw driver. I never ended up meeting Mike, but the transaction went as well as I could have hoped for. The last car I scrapped was 30 years ago. Mike was pleasant to deal with on the phone, and my interaction lasted only about 10 minutes with his employee and was easy and pleasant. Coastal Recycling made this procedure easy for me. Thank you Mike and crew! Edit: I added a photo of the old Gold Sonata heading down South Bay Rd on the flatbed.
