    Nickel and dime you so bad. I got charged for ice. I got charged for a piece of plastic that was on a chair. Got charged $10 for my wood pallet. Inside do they do not know any of their medals especially copper and stainless steel. This place is only good for dumping 10. The only worker I do enjoy is Joe. The guy outside literally breathes down your neck I could hear him breathe he's so close to me when I'm taking off stuff on my truck I go there every day. He has an attitude he just needs to back off of people and charge them at the window no use getting to an argument with people.

    I've been going to this Portland Avenue scrap yard since I was around 4yrs old with my father when it was called Kriegers....I stopped by today (1-22-21) and dropped off a load of scrap into the back of the yard!As usual the people acknowledge me with a friendly hello and let me unload my dump trailer!They have often asked me if I ever needed help when unloading because of my disability, but that's just the way they are!There all great people there and they really do try to help there customers out.And don't get me started on the cashier who is always in a great mood and has a smile on her face as long as you are polite!Just really nice people there that do a great job!
