    All the harsh complaints about this company are true. It doesn't matter the location. You may get lucky sometimes. You may get the short end of the stick. Most likely, you will get shorted. I'm not sure why I decided to buy for a fourth time, but out of 4 vehicles, only one was as described. You live, and you learn, and I have learned for good not to purchase from here. I have been going to auctions for about 15 years and Copart and IAA are by far the worst I've dealt with.

    Member services is the worst. 1st, I can't understand the representative, extremely strong accent, 2nd, I've been trying to get active for 2 months, each rep walks me through more signatures, they have told me 5x that I'll be active in 10-15min and it never happens, I think they get paid for how long they are on the phone, cause I've gotten NOWHERE and have spent hours of my work day with different reps and still no avail. It's ridiculous. Premium service is what I paid for and I'm treated as a peon. U would think they see that it didn't go active and maybe call us back since we were just on the phone for 2 hours, but NO, COPARTS, ur phone people are terrible.

    I had a terrible experience here. I settled a deal to sell my recently totaled car, and cleared the charges at the collision center so that Copart could pick it up. I was promised a tow within 24-48 hours so I paid storage fees in advance to the collision center to cover the possible 48 hour window. I got concerned when I didn't hear anything that first day so I called in the second day and was told they never scheduled the tow, and couldn'y guarantee a tow that day and the new window was another 24-48 window, which meant more storage fees at the collision center, which meant Copart wouldn't schedule the tow until they were paid in advance... Do you see my problem? Their inabaility to follow-through on a deal was resulting in an endless loop of storage fees for me. Incredibly unprofessional. I ended up getting an offer for double the money from another shop, and was delighted I wouldn't have to do business with Copart.

    Yesterday, 11/28/2022, I visited the Copart facility in GASTONIA NC with my wife and my experience was horrible. The car I went to check out had no battery and I asked for a jump starter to start the car, but Copart's jump starter didn't work. I immediately went to my car to get my jump starter, but I went out the wrong door and the right thing was to go out the office door. It was my second time at a copart office and I didn't know that this was a rule. Also, he only had 10 minutes to start the engine because the store was closing and he was in a hurry. After taking my own jump starter, I entered the same wrong door again, and at that moment a woman with short hair and a communication radio on her waist came out of the office to yell at me very loudly and treat me very badly because I was using the door wrong. This moment was horrible and I feel like this treated me like a dog. I never yelled at this person, I just told her (okay) and she kept yelling at me with a lot of anger and contempt. She wouldn't stop yelling at me and she took me out of the place like an animal. I understand that I can be wrong, but it is not the correct way to treat someone who regrets when they make a mistake due to ignorance. It was only my second time visiting a Copart location and never had this problem. I am writing this complaint with the intention that this person can improve communication with clients and that they can understand that clients must be treated with respect. I am not her enemy and I am not an animal. I can understand things and there is no need for this person to yell at me disgustingly. Right now I am very sad and very upset. I recommend that next time this person can talk to customers and kindly explain if something is not being done right. I hope this helps something and they can improve their customer service. Thank you very much.

    09.27.2024 Guys, if anyone comes here to read reviews... They are not working today. We thought there was some other entrance. We tried to find it and spent 2 hours on it BECAUSE OF THE HURRICANE ALL THE ROADS ARE CROSSED WITH WIRES AND TREES... but there is no other entrance. IT WAS NOT WRITTEN ANYWHERE THAT THEY WERE CLOSED. And they gave us an appt so that we could pick up the car... but it turned out they were just closed... I hope someone is disputing my comment and you will not come for the car.

    They took my car to their facility after an accident. They call me so I can go pick up my belongings from the vehicle and I arrive to the surprise that there is nothing, the only thing they left was my baby's chair. They should be strict with the staff they hire because not only did they steal my things but I also filed a complaint with the office and they said they would solve the problem and it's been more than three weeks and still no one responds. Companies like this should not have good customer demand, because looking at comments I realize that I am not the only one who has gone through this!!!

    Horrible customer service. Bought a car that indicated it was run and drive. Transmission didn’t even engage. Call and spoke to Cora. She got straight on the phone and lied to me. Then when I called out the lie. She changed up her story. She was rude and told me that she is not giving me any money back. She has terrible customer service. I would highly recommend to shop at China Grove, or Mocksville if you’re looking for a honest company to buy a vehicle. I’ve had this happen to me several times in my years of doing business with Copart, It was not a problem.

    I had issues with buying my cars due to my bank having a set limit. The team at the Gastonia NC location was amazing with patience and polietness. I have to give a super duper amazing job well done for going over and beyond to Mrs Anne. She walked me through the entire business relationship process step by step. Everyone there is great however Mrs Anne is hands done a wiz!!!!

    Even with appointment be ready to wait more than an hour to be loaded. Full yard of thr forklifts, only 2 working, sooooo slow. That's crazy, you can't do business like that

    All of the other current one star reviews are absolutely accurate. This is the worst location In the state of NC. The office staff is miserable. Every question is answered with a huff and a puff. They will act like they are so busy, but they just stand around and chat with each other and ignore the customers. It takes a solid hour to be handed a title for a car that’s been paid for. Appointments are available but are meaningless. Be prepared to wait well into the next appt block. I’ve been to most all of the Copart in the state. The super busy ones like China grove and Raleigh run like a well oiled machine. This place could learn something from them. I’ve informed all of the ppl I transport on behalf of to never purchase a vehicle at this location. I definitely will not be going back.

    Very slow!! Use to be quick now gotta wait over an hour to get paperwork. Only have 1 person working the front and 4-6 people in the back talking to each other while the line vetted bigger. It should not take over an hour to get the title after getting loaded!

    Garbage of a place. Retards on forklifts are so slow. Not even funny. I waited 2 hours to bring me 3 cars and I got only 1. Never coming here again. Go screw yourselves.!!!!!

This moment was horrible for my husband and he says he felt like really bad. He never yelled at this person, he just told her (okay) and she kept yelling at him with a lot of anger and contempt. She wouldn't stop yelling it. I understand that anyone can be wrong, but it is not the correct way to treat someone who regrets it when he makes a mistake due to ignorance. It was only our second time visiting a Copart location (specially in this location was my first time) and we never had this problem. This lady didn't yell at me because I was somewhere else waiting for my husband in the car we were inspecting, but I could see everything that happened and I heard the lady yell at my husband and I saw her throw him out of Copart . So I went to talk to this lady to find out why she had yelled at my husband and she told me it was just because she was not near me , which is a lie because he was around her and he never yelled at her. I hope this helps something and they can improve their customer service. Thanks

    I did not get to deal w/the office, as to the customer had already had the vehicles released! But I did ask one of the loaders to assist me, & very pleasantly abided! He didn't have to, or could've given me an excuse, or even had me wait... He jumped right on it. I made the mistake of not getting his name for recognition, but I'll see him in the future!

    If you go to this lot beware they have to pull every car you want to look at and it normally takes about 2 hours each time. Even if the car is up for sale the next day they still have to pull it.

    I’ve been a few times at this location, the facility is very restrictive with their lots areas, if you saw a car just few meters outside the selling yard, automatically a car with I assume they’re security, come and yell at me, even one of the sales associates yell at me because I carry my water on a clear snappy bag, and she warns me that I must show the clear bag before exit the facility in case I steal something, “WHAT” how professional is that, by other hand, 80% of the cars in yards have not batteries since they leaves carts with the switch on, and is something I noticed even with newly added to the lot since I went consecutively days in a row, even with the motorcycles, so at the end, if you go, bring your own jumper and make sure to be on just the selling lots to avoid been bothered

    Worst copart I've been too incompetent staff lazy operators arrived before my appointment time at 4pm my truck was not loaded until 520pm after sitting in the empty loading area for over an hour

    Each time that I come here... I am barely here more than 30mns, which is much appreciated. You cannot place a value on someone's personal time. But it seems that they recognize it.

    Told me I wasn’t able to bid on two cars I won both so I had to decide on which one I wanted so I bought one some time later they charged me a $600 fee for not buying the other 🤔 which they told me I couldn’t this place is already expensive on wrecked cars which I have two auto body repair shops so I I’m very familiar with repair prices and parts prices plus their fees are extremely too high might as well buy cars from individuals out there yard

    This is by far the worst copart location. Don't buy anything at this location. They don't start moving until 8:30then don't care about loading at all
