On fire again(2nd time in last 4 years) spewing toxic smoke all through Gastonia and have all the fire departments in the area, maxed out to their limits. There is hardly any fire hydrants available around your property and that needs addressing. Contracted semi trucks that bring the scrap metal are always speeding (crashing) and losing their loads all over the area. Very poor stewards to the area and the locals.

Do not waste your time going to this place. Their prices on scrap metals are good, but their workers are very slow and don’t care how long you wait. I had one person in front of me and I waited for over an hour before they even weighed my items. I got there at 1:30pm,I didn’t leave till after 3:00 pm. I could see it taking a while if they were busy, but it was a very slow day. They just don’t care about their customers. I was going to bring another load of scrap in , but they took so long and the scrapyard closes at 4pm, so I had to take it down the road to another scrap yard that closes at 4:30. Man were they fast. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. They pay less then metal recycling services , but definitely recommend Foss recycling over this place. They understand the importance that time is money. I would not recommend anyone going here unless you hours to just sit and wait.

Easy place to do business. They are diligent in their duties of making sure to identify sellers of any stolen property! Really fast purchases and they also have an cash machine on-site so I don't have to accept a check incase I need cash.
