I placed an order and put down deposit using credit card but I canceled the order when I got home within an hour since I was not sure when I would be able to receive the part. I called the shop to cancel several times, no one answered (Seems they knew who called and purposedly not answering the phone) but they still put the charge through. Fortunately I used credit card and was able to disputed the charge and got the money back. If I had used cash, the money would be lost.

Worst place, dont even waste your time buying anything from them, I called to order a part they told me they cant get the part without a deposit, so I went and gave them the deposit, and that the part was going to be ready the next day, I called next day so I can pick up the part, they dont know anything about it or the transaction that happened. Thief

Beware, This is a scam company! I ordered a transmission, they said it only had “40kmi” after it was delivered I looked up the numbers on transmission and did not match with the vin# number they say it came out of. (This was verified by Subaru) Looked as if it had come out of a car with much higher mileage. Secondly the case had a crack in it and leaking oil… I returned promptly, they only gave 50% refund of purchase price, I’m Having to make a legal claim.

Ordered a part on 8/25/2018 and was told it would be that day or the next business day (Monday). It's now 9/5/2018, they don't have the part as they stated it was damaged in their yard. They refused my suggestion to refund my credit card, and asked for another day to get me the part. They also said that there would be a 50% re-stocking fee if they refund me. I went ahead and disputed the charge with my credit card. If they somehow conjure up the part in the next 24 hours I will withdraw the dispute, but I don't expect that to happen. They don't have the part and the nearest salvage yard that does is a 3-hour drive. The guy at the desk seems nice enough, but that doesn't change the fact that this is the worst customer service I've ever seen. My advice: Avoid this business as it is not worth the hassle.

Should have read the reviews ahead of time. You never get a straight answer from these guys on the phone. Ordered a wheel and prepaid to have it shipped to me. They sent the wrong wheel. It happens. Called to get it resolved, was told I had to talk to the salesperson that sold me the wheel but he was unavailable, no one else could help. After not hearing back for a few days, I called again and the salesman answered, he said he didn't get the message. I told him I didn't want the replacement wheel anymore, I asked for a refund and to have the incorrect wheel picked up. He told me he could not do that, it was replacement only. I decided to give him another shot. He told me the correct wheel would ship that day. He faxed me a call tag for the first one. After 3 days, I called to check my tracking number. I was told the wheel hadn't shipped yet because they didn't receive the first back yet. I asked why he told me it would ship the same day. The salesman told me his boss had "overridden" that and they had to get the first one back. I asked why I didn't get a call about the change. He just said, "would you like me to refund you?". No I just don't want to get the runaround. One of the worst yards I've dealt with. Update: Called back to find out about my credit for the wheel that they had incorrectly shipped, and was told "We aren't dealing with you" They then hung up on me. So no wheel, no refund. Now I have to fight the credit card charges.

They get lower than 1 star rating they are rude & overpriced. They send you a paper if you want a part that asks for your driver's license front and back of your credit card info. This give them the right to charge your credit card for the items you want which you have describe on the paper and put the price that was quoted over the phone. Now they want you to fax this info to them. After the info is faxed your car part is pulled. If you don't like the part they picked in fine print it's a 50% restocking fee. Read the fine print when they email you the paper. I would never send my private info to them. I wanted to only pay cash. I contacted my credit card company and they don't do it's not worth it. I got better prices at different places in the same area and no drama. Tony was very rude on the phone to my wife.

I find it hard to imagine this place can still be in business the way they run things. I called Monday 11/17/14 to inquire about a 90 Supra they just got in over the weekend. I was interested in the complete interior despite the extremely poor condition most of it was in. I know they mainly purchased the car for the straight front end for 2 cars they are working on so I assumed (incorrectly) they'd be thrilled to move this poor condition interior quickly. I was told to call back the next day (Tuesday). I did call back, spoke to worthless Tony again and was told yet again to call back on Friday and he'd have a complete price for all the items I was interested in. I waited until Monday 11/24/14 to call back allowing them the additional days. Well you guessed it, not only was I told to call back the next day or to leave my number and he'd call me back, but I was also told I called at a bad time. Funny, I thought when a customer wants to purchase items a seller may want to sell, that during normal business hours wouldn't be a bad time to call. What would make me think he'd actually take the time to call back now seeing he hadn't done anything I expected to this point? If Tony is an employee, I can't get over he's still employed. If he's an owner, I find it ever harder to believe he still has a business to run. I do realize pretty much all the reviews reflect along the same lines the experience I had yet still I tried to purchase something since they're a close drive and I know they had the car since they just bought it from the auction at Future Cars the previous Friday. Lesson learned, when asked for my number I cut my losses as well as the phone connection with Tony.

I live almost 3 hours away from Hanna's but found them via car-parts.com when searching for seats. Their communication via email was excellent as was their pricing. They provided me a payment form so I could pay in advance and they had the seats pulled and waiting for me at their front office. Seats were as described too, well worth the trip. I wish all yards were as friendly and courteous as Hanna's!

Worst junk yard I've had to deal with. Nothing but excuses and runarounds. I called about a part and the guy on the phone confirmed he had it. I faxed him my credit card info and placed the order. I call back 4 days later to get a tracking number and he claims that they haven't even removed the part from the car yet and to call back at the end of the day. I call back at the end of the day and he gave me another excuse and says he will call me first thing in the morning. I wait until noon the next day and still no call so i call him. Another excuse and then says he will call me back in 5 minutes. 3 hours pass and still no call back. I call him and yet again another excuse on how they have the car on the lift and still haven't taken the part off, 6 days after I ordered it. It does not take six days to remove a part from a car. He "apologizes" and says he will take care of this ASAP. I give him until the following day and he comes at me with a whole different story on how they just found the car that has the part and they are waiting to put it on the lift. So much aggravation and nonsense from these people, I am surprised they are still in business. I really wish I read the reviews before dealing with these people. They really need to get their sh t together. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

Horrible place don't go save your self a headache. Ordered a part 600 dollars still one month and going they cant find the part. They refuse to give my money back and tried to give me the wrong part. Will have to take legal action. Should have read the reviews...SHM
- JJake Stump
I greatly enjoy how they have a live chat function online. I've called a handful of auto salvage places looking for a part and they're usually grumpy old dudes answering the phones. Dan was quick and honest with my inquiries. While they did have the part I needed, he told me it was not in good condition. Good customer service experience.
- DDenise Roncolato
I am changing my review from a 2 to a 4. Joe and Ray really came through for me and were able to refund my money in full within 1 week. They wiped away any frustration I had as.listed.below previously: Good initial service but they sold me the wrong door. Having difficulty getting hold of manager/owner to approve a return/refund. Getting the run-around from worker for 3 days and voicemail is full and not accepting messages.
- DDavid King
Zero stars i'm not sure why the police haven't shut this place down yet. called asking for a part. Tony confirmed having it and took my information. ( i made sure NOT to initial the fine print scam i read these reviews first.) i confirmed with him to send my part and send me a receipt and tracking number. for the next week i called everyday. only to have tony say he could send it off tomorrow every time. Cancelled my credit card on him before he could take any money from me. I doubt he even had the part let alone pulled it. i refuse to pay a dime to someone who has wasted my time. let alone a 60% restocking fee because he feels I've wasted his what a pathetic excuse for a business!!

So I read most of the reviews "after" dropping my 2006 forester off to get a new used motor. I was a little nervous to say the least, because of the mixed reviews. I spoke with Tony on the phone the next day and confirmed the process. He was reassuring that the engine and all maintenance would be warrantied. For the price, which in my opinion is very reasonable. So I kept the process going . I'm here to say don't believe everything you read on these feed back posts. Although I just picked my car up today and drove it 100 miles I will wait the 30 day period and review my experience again at that time. But for now I will give this place a 2 thumbs up.

This place deserves negative stars, and needs to be put out of business. Purchased a used tire, as the treat looked good and all. Was flat within a couple hours. Took it to a rim and tire specialist, thinking maybe my rim was bent. Turns out the tire was severely rotted between the treads, as well as having had a leaking valve stem. . Was told that it could have blown any minute at high speeds, and by selling me that tire, they essentially put me in danger. And of course, there's no refunds. Should have read the reviews before going there.

My husband and I went to these guys - despite some of the reviews we saw. We expected the worst but got the BEST. Tony was so helpful AND knowledgeable. He made sure my parts were in good condition before he sold them to me. They impressed me so much that I went back again...and I will be sure to go back if I need more parts for either of my vehicles. They made me feel comfortable dealing with them.

Prior to the original owner's death, I done business @ this location & Slatington. Since his death & his brother taking over, it seems things have really declined. I have made multiple attempts to get prices over the phone. I never get the price & eventually just give up. The in person interactions haven't been much better. It took much longer then it should have & several irate customers in line. The customer service varies each day based on who is assisting you. Its a shame such a successful business has deteriorated the way it has. I will take my business else where. Rockauto has prices for new parts that compete with their used junk.

I've been coming here for years and won't be returning , a few weeks ago Tony sold me an $80 dollar solenoid that wasn't what I showed him in a photo , I didn't notice until I got home that it was not what I asked for the plugs were completely different. I came in the next day and spoke with him and in front of other customers yelled at me called me a liar which was insulting .he tried to make me look like a scumbag in front of two older men . I didn't raise my voice or curse , I didn't disrespect him in any shape or form . I showed him the same photo I showed him the day before and he told me it wasn't what I showed him the day prior that what I was showing him does not go to my car , I told him I have no reason to lie. I told Tony he could keep the part and re sell it I didn't care I just want the part he claimed to be selling me I was willing to pay for it even tho he claimed he would exchange with in 30 days for the same part in this case he should have at least given me the correct part. Tony brushed me off made 3 phone calls for a shop that needed an engine of some sort. After standing there for 20 min he told me to call him back at one and he would "see" what he could do it was 10 am if I'm correct and it took me an hour to get there. No I did not call him back because felt he was not being genuine especially after the performance he put on when two others were there I knew he just wanted me to leave he couldn't even look me in the eye when he said call me at 1 his head was down and he just reached his hand out with a card ..I went to the advanced auto and bought the brand new working part I wasn't giving Tony or Hanna's anymore of my money !

Not even deserving of a single star but I guess I have to give one to get this displayed. Absolutely positively THE worst service I've ever dealt with in the automotive repair business. It took two full weeks for them to tell me that the transmission we had ordered was bad after they "tested" it (yeah, right). On top of that, it took no less than ten phone calls, literally one each day), for me to get any kind of information regarding status. Every time I called, I was immediately put on hold for no less than five minutes before the incredibly unhelpful guy got on the line and continued to dance around telling me that they had made no motion at all. This place can't go out of business soon enough.
- BBrandon Wunder
Called & asked if they had a part in stock, they did. They said it would be at the front desk when I got there. They sold it to someone else in the meantime. It happens. But their customer service is horrible. There was nobody in the office and when someone finally came in, they proceeded to take multiple calls while still "helping" me. It's like they don't want you to give them money. Also the place is a complete heap of trash, feels like a third world country. Businesses like this wreck communities & neighborhoods. Avoid at all costs.

I have been in the car business since the 1970's... I manage a business in Whitehall Pa , American Automotive & Restoration and have been doing business with Hanna's for nearly three years. I have been taught the value of customer service by offering the best of what I can do and it has served me well. Over the years I have had found that buying used parts is a risk and have dealt with many suppliers, never had I been so turned off as I am with Tony from Hanna's. It will be the last time I attempt to deal with him, he does not offer any credibility to our industry. My mother taught me if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all, but I could not help but write this. He lost my business and suggest you do the same.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. These guys are either incompetent, scam artists, or most likely both. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I called their shop in May to buy a black side view mirror for my car that they listed online as having in stock. He told me that he did have it, but I would have to come into their shop and pay for it, then he would pull it from the car and give it to me. I arrived there, paid, and then he told me that I would have to come back again in another 2 hours to pick it up, even though on the phone he said he would have someone remove it right away once I paid (this part takes about 3 minutes to remove from a car). I was pretty annoyed because their shop is 45 minutes from my house, but I had no choice, so I killed time at some nearby stores for 2 hours and then came back to get the part. When I returned, he said that they didn't have that part in stock, but he ordered a new one and I could come by 2 days later to get it, but it would be unpainted. I told him that the reason I was buying this used part from him was because it was supposed to be already painted and I didnt want a new unpainted one. He told me he would void the transaction and not charge my credit card. A few weeks later I get my credit card statement and big suprise- there is the charge for the mirrors. I called his shop 3 times, left messages with whoever answered the phone, and no one ever called me back, so I filed a dispute with the credit card company. He never bothered to call me back, but he did find time to respond to the credit card company and tell them that I picked up the part and that all sales are final. When I called the shop back on the phone and asked for a manager, I just got the runaround and was told that he couldnt look up my transcation because his secretary was sick so he couldn't get the file. Really, you can't open a file cabinet yourself? Don't shop here and whatever you do, don't give them your credit card. There's plenty of other reputable shops out there, run by honest, competent folks. Give one of them your money instead. I am filing additional complaints with the better business bureau and the local district attorney's office. Hopefully someone shuts these scam artists down.

Worst experience ever I called for a part day before pick up. show up next day waited an hour for it to get there. Then didnt have parts to mount it. Mechanic was drunk behind counter yelling at another employee and asking one to get him a bottle of jack. Part they gave me wasnt the class I asked for. show up 2 weeks later to exchange drive long distance to get there after calling at 8 am they said they have it. I show up again and have to wait as they said they are pulling it. After a half hour they tell me dont have it. Wont refund money. Didnt hold part I asked for. They had zero respect for the customer. A friend told me they were the worst and ripoffs. Well I learned for myself as they said nothing we can do have a nice day. Now I am stuck with parts that are messing up the car which has been unsafe to drive for 2 weeks even had it looked at by another shop and had a report on it. Hannas auto pull is no way professional or reliable at any means and shouldn't do business. If you want to deal with a bunch of drunks your in for an experience. They dont even deserve one star for their bootleg operation.
- ccasey bechtel
Avoid at all costs. Was told the part could be shipped to me. I did the paperwork they asked. Was not given updates at all. I had to call every day for an update on my order. They said they were pulling it yesterday. This was a lie. Called today and was told they were going to pull it eventually and put it on the shelf. They said they would refuse to sell to me (a business who would be a great regular customer)

Hello, I have ordered High Pressure Pump for my Diesel Jetta from Hanna's Auto Recycle over the phone for $159. After couple days, I have received a wrong part ( Gasoline type). I have called and was asked to ship the wrong part for a replacement. Waited for a week, and the owner Tony was promising to ship it the next day... Later, after many calls and promises, i have asked to get a refund.. There were different reasons," in 30 min were closing, call tomorrow"; or " The lady from accounting office is on vacation".. etc.. I have applied a complain on BBB.. Now, Tony just hang up in me because I have complained on BBB. Very rude..

This place is a joke. The staff is extremely rude and disrespectful and both times I went here for a specific part they gave me the wrong one. The most recent time I went for an alternator they sold me the wrong one so I called and told them about it and they said it was no problem and that I could come back that day (Friday) before they close or come back on Monday and exchange it for the correct one. Since I didnt have a vehicle at the moment due to the alternator issue I had to wait until Monday. 2 days without a car would have been no big deal since it was a weekend and I didnt have to go to work. But when I went back on Monday to exchange it there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for inventory for the next 10 days. The guy I talked to when I called on Friday never mentioned this to me and if he had I would have found a way to get there then but because they neglected to mention they were closed for the next 10 days I was stuck without a car for almost 2 weeks thanks to them. When I finally got in there to exchange the part and explained what had happened the guy said it wasnt his problem, it's not his responsibility to tell me they were going to be closed for inventory, and if they gave me the wrong part it must have been my fault because he doesnt make mistakes. He also charged me a fee for the return because I didnt bring it back within the time limit for an exchange, even though the whole reason I didnt bring it back within the allotted timeframe was because they were closed for inventory so it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to bring it back in time. I will NEVER go to this place ever again and anytime anyone asks me about it I tell them about my experience and steer them as far away from here as possible. If you want to be treated like dirt, be disrespected, and get ripped off then by all means....go here!

Ordered a rear taillight for my '2009 Audi, package came a few days later. Took package to body shop and was told Hanna sent a 2010 taillight which when i looked at it, it said right on the top of it 2010. I mailed it back thru postal service in same package as it was sent in but Tony said it arrived damaged and said he would send pictures to prove the damage. After 5 phone calls over a two week period asking for the photos, none arrived. Totally fed up with Tony Hanna. His honesty is questionable. Had he sent the correct taillight to begin with, this situation would have been prevented. Did he take responsibility for sending me the wrong taillight when asked. Of course not. I offered to pay half price for the correct part, he rejected my offer. This whole process took over 2 months. I'm out over $300 and still in need of a taillight. This company needs to learn that it cannot run over people and ignore its own mistakes. Find another parts company like RockAuto. CW

This is very unethical and unprofessional wit customers. I went once for a wire harness and it took them a very long time to get it. When I ask them for my refund so I can go somewhere. They denied it and when I was leaving. I over hear one of them being disrespectful towards my mom, which got me very upset. This company should be closed for their leak of customer service.

When it comes to auto parts! This is the right spot to GO! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I had the displeasure of deciding to order a low mileage reasonably priced motor from this sorry excuse of a business. It's been a week now since sending over my credit card authorization form to Ray (supposedly the office manager?) and it has still not been shipped to my repair shop. I explained to Ray on numerous occasions since agreeing to buy the motor that I needed the part to be shipped soon after agreeing to purchase & he assured me this would happen in a timely fashion as my customer has been without her car now for over a week & is waiting impatiently to get it back. As I've been working on vehicles for several decades and know not to trust what wrecking yards advertise the mileage of certain drivetrain components that I regularly purchase I always get the associated VIN for said parts to run carfax's on to double check the mileage as indicated often in the accident history. I was skeptical when Ray informed me that he was unable to provide the VINs for the two motors I was interested in & should have started looking elsewhere when he told me this as this should be the first signal the yard is not on the up & up but instead chose to get the motor anyway! Mistake.....I've been trying to get Ray pinned down now on shipping details for a week & all he seems to be concerned with is paying lip service by telling me every day now that the motor will be picked up later in the day or in the morning. After going on line today & seeing the abysmal reviews that have been written about similar misrepresentations of transactions that people have written I've decided to pull the plug on doing business with Hanna's on a permanent basis. Hard to imagine how they can stay in business with a track record like theres!
