Today the dude who worked on January 11 2025 try to sell me a 2 year old tire for 115 dollars. It was bullsh$$ I have bought from this place before for and been really good but now I don't know and I think that dude might be putting some in his own pocket!

Very friendly and professional staff. When they called this place "Late Model", they really meant it. There are cars that are not even four years old. Great parts for great prices.

Very impressed with this Wrench A Part location in Holland, Tx. One of the best yards I’ve been to in central and north Texas. They are very current in their inventory updates, organized, and friendly. Thank you, Chris, for all your help! Highly Recommend.

How is it possible that the warranty is not optional when in all other wrench a parts it is and only at this location it's mandatory it makes no sense at all just plain redicules will not return

Let me start by saying that I do a lot of business with the Austin and Belton locations and have for years, but sometimes they dont have the vehicle I am looking for in their inventory, but sometimes Holland does. When that is the case I make the drive to Holland and even though it cost more I got what I needed about half of the time. Things have changed now. Prices are higher and the higher the amount of your ticket, the amount that you pay for the enviro fee is significant. With most businesses you dont pay more for spending more with them. Now there is also an enviro tax fee. This is the case at all the locations I have been to. The difference now is that they changed the warranty from what was a reasonable $1.00 a day and you could choose how many days you needed to a set amount of 40 days with the cost of the warranty increasing the more that you spend, however, fortunately you always had the choice to decline the warranty. NOT ANY MORE!!!! Now the warranty is mandatory no exceptions. On top of that the part I got had significant damage and I asked if the part could be discounted in light of the amount of damage? I was told "I am not authorized to do that". I said can I speak to someone that is? I was told "There is nobody on the premises at this time that can do that". I said well how convenient. So I paid full price for a damaged part that would most likely have never sold because of the type of damage it had and was forced to pay for a warranty for a damaged part that I paid full price for. I was then told that "This is a salvage yard and salvage parts are not perfect". Why they felt it necessary to tell me that just made a bad thing worse. This mandatory warranty mandate makes the chances of me doing business at this location again very unlikely when you factor in the time spent to drive out to the middle of nowhere, the fuel cost and fees you have to pay. I would have done better buying a good part online and could have had it delivered to my shop. These are things that should be considered before making the trip, because this information is not found anywhere on the website because if it was I would likely not be leaving this review and I find no pleasure leaving a 1 star review, but as a local guide for Google I consider it my duty put this information out there so that anyone that is considering doing business here can know what to expect and I hope you find this helpful. Let me add a few more things that make absolutely no since to me. First, the enviro fee, this location has no engines or transmissions in the vehicles, so with that being the case any parts that are removed cause no harm to the environment in any way. Second, the core charge for parts used to only be on parts that actually had a core value. Now there is a core charge on items that have zero core value and the items that do have a core value, the core fee far exceeds the recycled value of the item. Last, in reading the website regarding warranty it states if you accept item will come with a 40 day warranty. this clearly means that you have a choice to accept the warranty or decline the warranty. I did not see where it states that the warranty is mandatory. Even if it did there would only be one logical reason for doing it. All of these things have the earmarks of price gouging IMHO.

You will find the part you need, but since they ask for your phone they will never stop text bombing your phone even when asked. Your part is not worth that aggravation.

Late model never disappoints. FYI they dont carry engines or transmissions because their parent yard resells them. But as long as you get there within a week or so of their inventory updates youll never walk away empty handed

Chris at the front desk was very helpful and courtesy, They have a great selection of inventory, very nice staff. Prices are slightly more than other places but that is because this place has newer cars, still worth every penny.

Amazing! A 20 minute drive, some walking and a screwdriver saved me over $60!! Kia wanted $70 + installation (it's one damn screw!!!) for a non-powered rear view mirror for my wife's 2016 Soul. Drove 20 mins to Wrench A Part, which has a massive lot of cars as far as you can see, with every part imaginable available for the picking. Guy at the front is super friendly. $2 to enter, bring your own tools (I brought my own screwdriver), be ready to walk, and save a bunch of green. I am going to chow down on some cheeseburgers with the money I saved. TIP: browse their inventory of cars and parts online before you come so you can head straight to what you need

Needed a transmission for my 2001 Chevy Suburban. Yes big deal! But they had one in perfect working condition. Transmission was shipped to my mechanic and installed and sooooo good to go! I love my 2001 Suburban! I highly recommend getting anything you need from here.

Friendliest most helpful staff I’ve ever witnessed in any salvage yard in my life. That alone saved this place. The yard is a very long hike from the first row of cars. Major inconvenience… a golf cart option would be nice only because of how hot it gets here, that really could be a safety hazard one day and that’s my only concern. The vehicle selection is impeccable.. the set up of the vehicles is top notch. Besides the long walk, there isn’t a thing you can say about this place.

Ive given this yard a chance so many times. For one dont waste your time driving out here expecting to get what you need. The interiors of every car is trash from them throwing heavy items on it and or everything is moldy and wet. Two, prices are crazy. I mean $30 for a armrest at a u pull it salvage yard? I then tell the guy at checkout i want warranty removed for obvious reasons (im not spending $60 in gas to come back out here to return a $30 item) he then comtinued to say “oh warranty is included” i said no i want it removed and then he says “all wrench a parts do this” no, you can remove warranty and it saves you money. I do this at austin, belton and San Antonio no problem. I dont see that i was charged for a usless warranty until i get home two and half hours down the road. When i said TWICE i DO NOT WANT TO PAY FOR A WARRANTY. This has happened for the third time at this yard. Theyre a scamming money grab. I guess they figured they didnt make money off their cars at snyder that they need to pinch every penny on a upull it yard.

Since they opened up they had bad employees and the change that u cant deny warranty. I thought it wont last compared to the other wrench a parts because the prices are cheaper and better service. However since the recent change on workers like Lucy, she helps answer questions, knowledgeable and has an amazing attitude. It has gone a better and closer to the other wrench a parts. So as long they dont increase the prices and can find more employees like her. They will get more customers and better reputation.

Before Hera a good place to buy but with all those guarantees that they charge you I think about wanting to return again and the paperwork and the core of the parts you spend $400 between guarantee and papaleo they charge you almost $200

This shouldnt be called a wrench a part. If you need anything besides tires, body pieces or gas tanks this isnt your stop. NOT ONE CAR has a motor in it. NOT ONE!!

Went to get 4 tires and the set was already gone. However Jay took the time with another gentleman to find 4 of the same size, good tread and no damage. Great service! Now we'll see how the tires hold up 😁
