I agree with Jeff D to a point. You certainly want to know what you're doing when you go in there because the employee speaking to me may not. In fact, I was told there was no automatic 30-day warranty any longer, which was news to me so, I paid it. But I didn't previous visits even though they charged me automatically I made them take it off before I ran my credit card. Last time the guy wouldn't take it off that's when he told me, a lie. Now , I don't know if he knew that it was a lie, he may have been misinformed or just incorrect. And I don't like the fact that they charge an environmental fee on something that has no environmental damage or any special needs to dispose of. So why pass that cost on to the consumer why because they're lining their pockets. And as far as pricing, to my knowledge, the places that I go this is the most expensive place in the area. Of course it's the only pull a part that I know of in Greensboro. Sometimes I make the trip to Winston-Salem Patterson avenue. Much cheaper but you only get a store credit and not cash like this place. Which is fine if they have another part that you can go get but sometimes they don't, then where are you? So, half a dozen and one and six of the other. Also, it used to be a lot less s*** laying around on the ground. Count your blessings on that. Because when they pick the stuff up all they do is throw it in your way. When you get there you have to move the s*** out of your way to get the part you want. Whereas they pile parts and stuff on the car in the interior on the front of the car whatever the case may be. I don't know why they don't pick it up and just dispose of it. Please don't take my advice, because all that will do is increase the cost of the parts for us. LOL... I haven't found any research to say that they're doing anything wrong with the environmental fee but I still don't like it. From what I can tell they pay environmental fees for stuff like oil, antifreeze disposal and stuff like that. So why are they charging me an environmental fee on a starter that they get paid to dispose of my core by the way of scrap metal.

Context: for the first time ever, broke off my mirror on my poor camry trying to avoid the dumpster truck in our neighborhood and had to duct tape it to the door till I got to the yard. Well pulled up the website, typed in my car, it showed me the compatible options on the yard, now sadly it doesn't guarantee the part is there, but I was looking for the same paint color replacement so I wouldn't have to order a black one & have to repaint it. So I went in, started from the newest one, which did have one but it was meh, so I worked my way back to the back and sure enough the one at the back had a much better looking one. After taking 4 mirrors off to make sure the connectors were the same, I grabbed the better one. Checked out, and even got the warranty just in case the connector was not working. And thank goodness, it fit perfectly & had power to it. Now no more broken mirror. Even wiped it down really good with the wipes I had in the car. May even spray a little clear coat on it just to better protect it. Also managed to get a replacement rear bumper from them a couple months ago. 😁

Big waste of time. The pictures are when they get the car in and not after they place them in the spot. What they do is they set the cars on old rims. Chances are if you need something underneath the car, for instance we needed a rear bump, it will have been smashed in the process of them setting the car down. Definitely call and see if there’s a way to get an updated picture what they have online is not accurate.

BEWARE this place is a SCAM, They do not honor the prices listed online. online price $24.00 | Price at counter is 70.00. Greed is a hell of a thing and instead of making PYP money you got a crusty caliper in a wheel barrel. Never will i return. PULL YOPUR PART in Winston is a far better experience. i also gave every one star review a thumbs up

They are absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! Why would it ever be okay to charge someone the same prices as NEW PARTS. It’s a junk yard, EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IS OLD AND USED!!!! Why would that even be acceptable! They are out here hitting people over the head who obviously are in need to even go to a junk yard in the first place. Tried to charge me 100$ for a USED wheel bearing that’s absolutely crazy! I can get it cheaper than that off Amazon! Definitely won’t be open for a long time. I will NEVER go back here ever again! IF YOU GO HERE EXPECT TO PAY WAYYY MORE THAN WHAT THE PART IS ACTUALLY WORTH!!!!

Not impressed with this establishment. Not very well organized at all and heck not even friendly to paying customers. Just spend the extra money and go to the autopart store trust me not worth the hassle here!

I came to this place as a favor to a friend to pick up an order he had placed. I got here at 4pm on Friday and on the glass door was handwritten note Closed! Will reopen Monday. On the front door of the Customer Pick-Up and Returns door are the posted hours of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Closed Saturday & Sunday. This is really BAD Business!!!

I hate that you have to PAY for a warranty on a used part at LKQ. It seems like it could simply be incorporated in the part price to start with. Paying for a 90 day warranty on a used aluminum wheel, $5 to have a dry rotted tire dismounted and then being charged a core and an environmental fee adds up. I’m helping the environment by buying a recycled part. But I’m paying a fee for polluting the environment? And is the a core charge due to the fact that LKQ is going to remanufacture wheels suddenly? Overall this location is nicer than the Raleigh LKQ Pick a Part and about on par with the Durham location.

I wouldn’t recommend coming here to get parts. UNLESS you get lucky and catch the car you are looking for as soon as it arrives and pull the part(s) out before someone else gets to it. You have to go to the window, pay the $3 entrance fee and bring your own tools to remove the part off the car. IF THEY HAVE IT, and then pay for the part before leaving. I came here on twice after putting in the vehicle information and the part I’m looking for. The website would ALWAYS show the part IS IN STOCK and the location of where the vehicle(s) is on the lot. They would have numerous vehicles of the same make and models of some vehicles. Each time I went up to the window to pay the $3 entrance fee and EACH TIME, the lady at the window would pull up the same info on the site showing the part is IN STOCK. I would go onto the lot with my tools go over to all the vehicles that should have the part only for the part I’m looking for to already be out of the vehicle. Just a waste of time. I’m not making a big deal about the $3 entrance fees lost, but they should keep better track of the parts after they’ve been removed. I’ll just stick to auto parts stores or the dealer for parts going forward as I know they will either have them or be able to get them ordered.

It's not the same as it use to be. Staff is friendly and the prices are fair but the location and the corporate office prices are not on the same page. Also make sure to tell them you don't need the extended 90 day warranty as they will try and automatically charge you for that. Some items have core charges also that reflect on your receipt. I've never been able to use my points when I get the chance to use them they told me the policy is no longer being used. They really need better communication with pricing adjustments for multiple items being sold. If I'm buying a part I should be charged for what that part is, not every single additional part on that part. Example buying a brake caliper and then charging me for the pads in the caliper that's nickel and dime craziness! Update: Aug 2023 Lkq just getting worse. Some staff aren't knowledgeable of parts and completely overcharge for parts! I was told $75 for the 20" section needed to make a repair. I really wish they would be on the same page with prices online and at the various locations. The best employees seem to be leaving and it's all downhill

Don't want to be accountable for issues. Parking lot is trash and I hit a parking stop that was in the middle of the parking space in a blind spot beside a car I was pulling in next to. Very rude said they didn't have time to go back and forth that they weren't liable for the damage when the young man told me that day it was asked that that parking stopped to be moved yet it wasn't which resulted in me hitting it and messing up my bumper. So have to make a police report cause they can't knowledge the fact that they made a mistake. Horrible company and over priced as well will never ever buy anything here again. If I was anyone I'd go someone where else cause it is in fact they don't care about there customers not the appearance of Thier property and any damages and their negligence of keeping a safe parking area clear of debris or hazards.

BUYER BEWARE! If you don't want a 90 day warranty (and reading other reviews, it doesn't appear they honor them as they should), be sure to tell the cashier. I was charged over $20 for warranties covering a plastic trunk liner, a plastic trim piece, 2 sun visors and a door handle. I noticed this when I got to my truck, went back in and was told there was nothing they could do since I walked out of the yard. The cashier (he has a big chipped tooth) said he didn't have "credentials" to do a refund, then mentioned I left the yard. I was out of "the yard" for 2 mins max. The customer service there is lacking, so buy there at your own risk. I'll be making a longer drive to 109 U Pull it here on out. Best of luck LKQ and hope you start teaching your employees what Customer Service really should be. Take care of your customers.....they might be the ones keeping you in business (insert sarcasm here).

I’ve been doing business with them for years. They definitely are the highest self serve yard in business now. Some parts are cheaper new. As a mechanic visiting junkyards daily I definitely would rather drive to pull apart or 109 u pull it to buy the same parts half price.

Bad customer service from the men working at the register! having to pay for a 90 day return they do not own up to it! My dad went to return a faulty transmission but since he didn’t have the receipt of the purchase they did not want to take it back in and return the money! Even after showing them the bank statement where the payment was made at this exact junk yard! They claimed they couldn’t go back in the system to look for the purchase but The day my dad bought the transmission a lady informed him that even without the receipt they could return the transmission with the bank statement showing the purchase. Why would they charge for a 90 day return policy and not own up to it ?

BE AWARE! This place is very deceitful and not transparent when it comes to items for sale. Some items for sale are not in the price list which allows them to name their own price on the spot. They also nit pick and charge for every little tiny piece that might be attached to a item that you would normally pay one price for. Next they proceed to charge extra for a warranty on each item without asking for permission to do so. You have to tell them you do not want it because they will not mention that option to you. After it is all said and done, they charge you a 7% "environmental fee" on your entire purchase which is not posted or listed anywhere on their price list or anywhere at the place of business. This fee is also not refundable if you make a return. The environmental fee seems to be the most deceitful in the pricing of their items. They should have that charge and the percentage posted on their website and at the place of business. After it is all said and done, be prepared to add at least 13.75% to the price of what they have in there price list.

Very well organized, lost of cars. Got a door for my 4runner here not problem. Showed for a 40% off of everything Black Friday sale to get two seats, website said they were about $30 each. Pulled the seats and get to checkout to be told they are now $75 each because they have airbags. I'm then told that the Black Friday sale advertised on their website no longer exists. $40 turned into about $175. Feel like I got scammed.

Great place if you are looking to find used car parts. They have a great variety of vehicles and do a fairly good job of keeping watch for people who just like to tear things up. My buddy just found a steal today. He found kicker 6x9 for his jeep for a retail price of $165 and they sold the pair to him for $20 bucks so yes there prices are reasonable 10/10 would recommend

Great place just be prepared! Inventory online is spot on, as are prices listed, just some tips... You will be charged a $3 entry fee. Get on the website and find your model car and jot down or screenshot the row and spaces they are in so you can easily find them. When checking out know your part (and know what the listed online price was). Tell them you DONT want the 90 day extended warranty BEFORE you pay or they automatically add it. Bring the broken part or you will be charged the core price listed on the site, note you have 30 days to bring the old part to get the core charge back (or 90 days if you pay for the extended warranty). Staff is nice but not necessarily helpful, BUT prices are a good bit cheaper than places where you get a bit more coddling. Personally I prefer doing things on my own and saving a couple bux so I love it, but like I said just be prepared...

Very friendly, very helpful staff. Upfront pricing, web searchable vehicle and parts. Oh, and unbeatable prices. Bought a great condition rear door/trunk/tailgate for a 2008 Honda Odyssey (that matched interior/exterior colors of the vehicle it was going on) for $109 with the taillights . Can't beat that! A+

If you are a do it yourself mechanic or you just happen to need a part for your car then definitely check this place first before buying your part elsewhere. Make sure you bring your own tools though because they don't provide tools to strip the vehicles. They have a nice inventory of cars to choose from. Prices here are fantastic! To me it just doesn't make sense to spend more money on parts that are new when most used parts work just as good. Employee's here are super friendly and get you in and out of here very quickly. I definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Some staff members are great to deal with, others...not so much. Walked in today after verifying the prices online prior to leaving home. Spent around two hours in extreme heat removing parts I'd plan on purchasing and went to the cashier to check out. Guy gave me a quote of $151.00 which was a bit over what the parts should have cost at $118.73 before cores. I politely ask him to recheck how he had priced everything (as individual parts or as sub-assemblies)...as listed online. He then quotes me $191...saying he had left something off the bill. I agree to those terms and hand him my card to process. He then rings up the bill at $255.. a price $64 higher than was agreed to and already $104 higher than his initial revised quote. I say "please cancel the sale"...he then proceeds to tell me that by canceling the sale I have to pay an environmental fee. I say "that can't be true the transaction was never completed". His supervisor come over with the same "silly" nonsense. I take the $16 fee 'hit' and politely leave. I'd immediately asked for it to be cancelled upon him handed the card back along with the higher bill quote to sign. I had agreed to $191...not the surprised $255. I never even signed the receipt...knowing that was not the price agreed upon. I get home and double check why the cancellation slip was so high ..turns out they had double charged for the same item...then separately charged for a part which is already included in the assembly. Probably won't be going back there again...which is a shame. I usually buy stuff from them.
