Called to have a PS pump shipped out of state. Seth was helpful and had the part shipped within the hour. Salvage parts can be a gamble but the pump installed fine with no issues.

We bought an engine from these guys and was told the engine was in great working condition but that's the not the case. The mechanic installed it but gave engine codes and when they did the trouble shooting, the mechanic stated that the head gasket needs to be replaced on it. The car has not ran since installing the engine. It took a couple of months to get someone to install it but because it's outside their warranty period they won't do anything about it. I would stay away from Marler Auto. I would not recommend them for any used stuff. Find someone else

Bought a motor to be shipped to Boise. We are a repair shop. We understand that used parts are used and do not carry a warranty. What we do not understand is why a business would sell a broken part to another professional shop in the industry. Now I understand that there are certain things that you cannot know about a part, such as internal issues. But we bought a motor that supposedly ran correctly at the time of removal. This is not possible because we immediately tested the motor compression on the pallet (as is our standard procedure) and found 0 PSI compression in cylinder 4 with 100% leakage via the exhaust valve. There also happened to be 60% leakage from both valves on cylinder 2. Here's my problem with this. There is no way that this motor ran correctly with 0 PSI compression and valve leakage from 3 valves. Therefore, we were sold a bad part, a known bad part. They partially refunded the price, but we're out $300 which they held back. I can understand that we would be liable for the shipping or restocking charges, or whatever the $300 is being held for, if we ordered a good part and they shipped a good part, but we returned it for some other reason. But in this case, we were shipped a known bad part, the proverbial boat anchor, and we are out the $300 which they held back and are not refunding for some reason. As other reviews have warned, they are not willing to work with you and will fall back on the policies of "NO WARRANTY" etc. Sounds a lot like we got talked into buying a junk motor, an intentional act and they're keeping $300 of our money rather than refunding the total price. I could be proven wrong immediately with a $300 refund and would gladly update this review to endorse their integrity. But at this time, I have no faith in ever getting our $300 back and no faith in their integrity as a business. UPDATE: Chase's reply states they have refunded us for the part. The picture below shows the invoice with part price at $1500, core charge at $150, shipping at $150, with a $25 processing fee. We have been refunded $1525 to date. If $300 is being held back for shipping, please refund $150. If the the full price of the part is being refunded, then please refund the remainder of the core charge, which is $125, which would make our total refund $1625, i.e. $1500 for the motor and $150 for the core charge. We will accept either solution.

I went in unknowingly unprepared for what I was looking for. They had the parts and were very helpful helping me locate what I needed. They even loaned me a tool I forgot to bring, which I ended up breaking on accident. They wouldn't let me pay for the tool, and thanked me for coming in. WOW! This was not my 1st time there, and they have always been helpful, even when they didn't have what I needed. I will definitely continue to use their services. I was also very impressed at how organized the yard was, and how clean the office was. Great group of people!

I will save these guys in my favorites tab and call them anytime I need a specific part for my car immediately. The customer service level these guys have on the phone was amazing. The rep naturally empathized with my situation, found the exact part with little details and even offered me flexible options on receiving it since i live out of state (a lot of places don't). I love these guys!

They held our transmission for us when we had to drive 2 hours and 13 mins to pick it up. As I walked in they were arguing with a guy that is was claimed already. We truly appreciate them keeping their word and holding it for us. We are a family of four and the transmission was very much needed for our only vehicle. Thank you to the guy with all the tattoo for making the experience buying through you awsome.

Called and spoke with Tim today, he was super friendly. He verified that the part I needed was available, and called me back to let me know it was, and that it’d be a few before they got it pulled out of the back and available to be picked up. He called me back a couple hours later to let me know it was available to be picked up. His customer service and attitude were on point!

Great experience here! Everyone was very helpful and did their best to help me find the old parts I needed for my Power Ram 50 pickup, even facing extra difficulty with ice and snow. Chase does a great job of running an efficient crew and gave me a great deal, saving me a lot of money on shipping by getting the parts pulled before I had to leave their area.

Parts are super expensive, they handle to you dirty and their customer service is garbage, i would rather go inter-mountain auto parts that they don't charge a pulling fee on top of the part and the parts are actually WAY CHEAPER ! with a professional customer service willing to help you out or at least workout a price with you.. These salvage yards pay dime for those wreck cars and they sell you the part the same it will cost new on EBAY or the dealer itself ! ridiculous

Absolutely ridiculous customer service, don’t know how they stay in business. Will never return there or refer anyone else there. Was treated very very rudely. Not to mention their ridiculously overpriced parts and refusal to negotiate. I went in looking for a part, and because they “didn’t know” if they had it they made me walk out to the end of the lot to look and pull it myself. When I brought it back with a couple extra floor mats and silicon cup holders they refused to sell the part to me (saying they only sold them in sets, mind you I told them what I was looking for before I walked out and they said nothing about buying in pairs) and then tried to over charge for old worn out floor mats. THEN, when I told them how ridiculous that was and I wasn’t paying them that much, they told me I had to walk all of the parts back.

I went into Marerlers and needed a body part(door) . I was told they didn't have it and he checked the website and told me there wasn't a part close by for me. So I took his word for it and looked everywhere , no luck. My friend we t on Marlers website and they had 5 doors in stock. I wasted 2 weeks looking when I could have had the vehicle up and going iin the first day. The door on their website is $150 and they want me to pay '225 upfront. Ridiculous.

Needed a door for my 4 door Honda Civic. These guys were the only ones I could find in east Idaho that had one. I called to double check what was showing in their inventory and they took my information and said they'd get back to me. Wasn't a long wait and I had the information I needed. They even called when my part was ready for pick up. Now based of their inventory I had prepared myself to have a door that didn't match the color of the rest of my car. The previous owner rattle canned it so I wasn't terribly worried. I told the staff about my car and my situation. I get there and everything was waiting for me out front. And to my surprise, it was black to match the rest of my car! They even had my sales receipt attached to the door and helped me get it loaded up in my vehicle. I've never had to buy anything from a salvage yard before. I won't hesitate to come back. The service was amazing and they were polite and professional despite being busy. Thank you guys so much for your great customer service.

Would you rather make money off the little knobs, odds and ends, and trim pieces people are looking for? Or scrap them for peanuts? Sometimes people are just looking to upgrade what they already have, we need to see it in person, and we aren’t going to pay ebay prices doing it….otherwise we would just go to ebay. I’m not paying a “pulling fee” for something that I can pull myself. This is a community full of “do-it yourself” people. We need open junk yards that we can access. I write this mainly because your staff is absolutely rude. That’s not necessary. It’s not our fault that you guys store vehicles out front, making them appear as though they are openly available for people to grab parts from….yet, expect people to just know that your yard is closed to the public (a practice which is completely useless to consumers) Maybe you should post that you are not open to the public, outside, on the gate, in plain view.

Marler Auto Supply has exceptional customer service. When another wrecking yard wasted 4 of my working days on a part they ended up not having I reached out to Marler Auto Supply. I had pictures of the part I needed within hours. The very next day the part arrived at our shop. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thank you Marler Auto Supply!

This is a very large auto salvage yard with with vehicles of all types and age. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. I was able to get parts for my son's 1994 Mazda B4000 LE 4x4 in great shape and they pulled the parts. Prices are very reasonable.

Drove 6 hours to get some expensive parts, we got back and was told by installer that wrong parts were picked/given. Marler informed me it was my fault and expects me to drive an additional 6 hours to fix their own mistake. They did offer to replace the part if I bring the old one back (3 hours each way)and exchange them.. 🤦‍♂️ Update: after submitting my review I was contacted by the supply yard and they offered to have me pay $40 to have them ship the correct part and return the wrong one, I'm satisfied, Chase is willing to help out 👍.

I was very disappointed with the service provided to me. As in, there really wasn’t any service provided. I was interested in a vehicle out front in the lot that has been there for a while, and as I was inspecting it, a man came out from the office and started to yell at me. He promptly reentered the building without giving me any reason for his rude behavior. As I entered the building, the employee was gone, and the other employees were very sharp and short with me. They did not appear to want to talk to me in any way, so I left the establishment. I would NOT recommend this yard to anyone of my friends, nor my enemies. This is not the first time they have been unprofessional with me, so I will not be returning.

I really needed a part in order to get my car fixed. I live in Rexburg and so the trip to Idaho Falls was out of the way, especially with my class and work schedule. I thought I only needed a small part off of a coolant reservoir and so that's what I took. As I got back and was working on the car, I realized I should have taken the whole coolant reservoir. I called them back and explained I had bought the part and now realized I needed it. They tracked it down, verified that I had purchased it, and then placed it outside the gate so that I could pick it up after hours when I needed it. This was definitely exceptional service, and they went above and beyond and I am grateful!

There needs to be a zero star option for these guys. I came searching for scout ii d44 axles for a custom International scout build earlier this year. The staff claimed that they might have some scouts and had me hike in foot deep snow to the back of their lot only to find two mangy hacked excuses of a scout ii. They both appeared to have the axles on them. The axles were gutted for the most part only having the inner knuckles and luckily the shafts. There was a tire on one front axle on the driver's side so I decided to go with that one. I hiked back and told them that I was interested in the one Scouts axles. The guys gave me a very expensive price so I tried to negotiate it down to a bit more fair of a price. They gave me a blank stare like I was trying to negotiate the price of milk at Walmart. Finally I ended up getting them to throw in some extra 15inch rims for it. It took me a good 3 months to track down all the missing parts and clean the rust and grime on the axles. The other day I decided to give them a second try, it was a mistake! I showed up to see if they have a steering gearbox I was searching for, they said they might and had me once again hike out to the north40 to look at the gearbox. Hiked back and told them that was the part the shop needed. One guy gave me a price and then the other guy gave me a higher price and proceeded to charge me that price. I had to wait the weekend to get the part and waiting most of Monday for them to call me. Finally I drove over there and proceeded to be yelled at from a employee across the parking lot. When I walked into the office they were very unprofessional and pointed at a heap of grease that was the steering gearbox, they did not want to talk about a vehicle I was interested in. Very dissatisfied and disappointing service. I will take my business elsewhere and encourage you to do the same!

Parts often cost only a couple dollars less than brand new OEM from the dealership. Apparently, they lack competition. UPDATE: When all your responses are boilerplate replies nobody cares. The reality is, your pricing is not negotiable so your response to this is to make it appear like you care. I get it. Facades are important.

My sister in law had a VW Passat door shipped to my fiancés work and the add for the door stated no damage but showed up with a lot of scratches, a dent and the part of the door that meets the front fender is bent in. She has notified them of the damage to see if she can get a partial refund but after they said they would talk to their boss she haven’t heard anything back and the phone kept going to voice mail. Can we please get her somewhat refunded as it cost almost 1000$ if not more to get the door and shipped to Portland just to show up damaged. Pictures were taken on the crate and written on the bill of lading from the shipper.

This is the biggest yard of cars you'll find around. The staff was not only friendly but they worked diligently to find the part we needed and were able to get the part before the time they originally quoted, so they're quick as well. The part we needed was reduced in price by at least 50% which helps us out too. I'd definitely give them a visit if you need a part for your car!
