Marshall's Auto & Truck Parts JunkYard Reviews
3.3 stars based on 30 reviews- JJustin Kerns
If you’re looking for friendly helpful staff. Timely services with great parts this is not the place for you. Front desk staff bluntly rude on the phone and in person waited over 2 hours for my parts and tried to convince me to take a broken part and glue it back together. 2 star service at best

I needed a gas tank for a 30+ year old car and Marshall's had one! Yeah, I had to wait a little bit for them to pull it but so what? Friendly, down-home guys and a laid back atmosphere, I like it.
- RRiley Davis
Waited 2 hours and 40 min for them to pull a single spindle. I told them exactly what one I wanted on the phone and over counter. They pulled the wrong one and pretty much tried to say I was dumb because they are to incompetent to listen to what you actually say. Then I had to argue with them to even get my money back. Place is a joke save your time and money. Much rather pay more for another place that will actually do the job right and not act like children laughing when they make a mistake and try to put it off as your fault.

I needed a TCM for my 1999 Audi A4 because the car wouldn't move in any gear. Marshall's Auto Parts had one available at a great price, so I ordered it. Troy was incredibly helpful, and the part shipped quickly—I received it in no time! Car now moves problem solved Marshalls saved me a ton of $ and frustration. This will definitely be one of my go-to parts suppliers in the future. Thanks guys! Let me know if you'd like any further adjustments! ,

I just have to say these guys are the real deal! I’ve been looking for a roof rail for my Subaru for weeks, and since it is discontinued, my only hope so I’ve been eBay and checking junkyards to order online. I finally stumbled upon a site that gave me parts from junkyards around my state and found the part I needed from Marshall’s. FOR CHEAPER THAN EVERYONE ELSE TOO! Not even exaggerating they saved me hundreds of dollars on a discontinued junk part that people are taxing for everywhere else. I called to confirm that they had it, the gentleman and told me how I can order it online so they can start pulling apart so it would be ready by the time I am off work. I lived about a half hour away and could only make it in about a half hour before they closed. They didn’t try to shoo me away or tell me they couldn’t or try to make it in the time crunch or anything like that. Simply told me to make sure I confirm it by ordering online and they’d get me taken care of. I gotta say these men went above and beyond expectations. I really only needed one side rail but I just ordered both to be safe since it didn’t specify which side, and the price for both already beats the price of one from any other ebay seller or any dealer that happens to have the part in stock for $400! For one rail too. These guys got me both rails, and even hooked me up and tossed in the crossbars, once again that people overcharge for online. And on top of that, they took it apart to help make sure it fit in my car. Literally a half hour before closing when any other business could have easily shrugged me off or given me some attitude/hassle about it. Hands down some of the best and honest service I’ve received. I really appreciate and I genuinely thank all of you guys there that got me taken care of! Give these guys a call if you can seriously!

I needed a part for an older vehicle, and due to a number of factors couldn't find it at any local yards (one yard in the whole state had one, but for several reasons I didn't pick them). The man on the phone was courteous and understanding, and honestly a blessing to me w/ how much trouble I've had getting this part elsewhere. It was also cheapest here, even with shipping considering they were asking 30 (just for the part) and other yards were asking at least 50 or more (just for the part)
- JJosiah Yoder
They had the parts I needed. Other than the 1 and 1/2 hour wait. It was okay

I get pissed off every time I try to deal with them. It’s worse than going to the BMV! Aggravating business practices. Not helpful.

I drove 5 hours one way from Michigan to purchase a transmission for my 2000 Nissan Frontier from Marshalls Auto Parts. I had called and ordered it a few days in advance. The guys on the phone were very polite and helpful for the questions I had especially due to how far I had to travel. You could tell they were honest to the best of their knowledge for what the situation was with the transmission. They made sure to have it out and ready and called me once it was good to go. I drove there, picked it up, and got it installed in my truck. The transmission shifts great and I am very pleased with their product and customer service. Truck can now be back on the road again. Thank you again Marshall Auto Parts.

Super helpful over the phone, paid and received the parts within two days. Looking forward to ordering from yall again!

Normally a great place, office manager needs to work on his people skills a little and realize others can be knowledgeable about auto parts as well. I practically had to beg for him to take my business. He tried his best to talk me out of buying the part I needed even though I used their website to find and match the interchangeable part. Everyone else was extremely nice and Marshalls has always had competitive prices.

One of the best places to get ur carts and everything is very affordable. Most typical parts like alternator battery starter are pick up and go. Some parts u may have to wait while they pull it off. But it saves you the hassle of taking it off the car like most junk yards. Parking is limited. But it is an excellent place to go.

Bought a transmission from them put it in and it didn't work, called them and told them I wanted to just junk the vehicle and the gentleman told me he would refund the money for the transmission and also junk the vehicle, got it towed to them and they wouldn't refund me the money for the transmission like they said they would. Definitely will not be doing business with them ever again

Waited 2 hours for them to take a picture of a door so we could see it before buying it. Then we waited another 2 hours for them to actually pull the door. Most of the employees weren’t doing much but sitting on their phones or flipping through papers. When we received the door it was completely stripped of all interior. Before getting it I had asked if had all the interior attached and the guy said yes. He had failed to mention we would be getting the part hollowed. We still ended up paying $160 for it because no one else had the door we needed. They don’t value customers time. They fail to mention details of the actual product you’ll be receiving. It’s sketchy, for real! If I’m spending money I want to know exactly what I’m getting. Honesty is an important part of keeping loyal customers. We don’t mind waiting, just not 4 hours.

My interaction was a - 10 worst ever !! They were very unwelcoming, unprofessional and acted as if I was an inconvenience. Good Morning to You as well. My reply in response to the owner comment. Your opening statement proof of my point ,it was very unprofessional. Also Welcoming is a pleasantry felt by the receiver followed by an action hello, one moment with warmth and a smile . And I was not the person you spoke with on Friday . I was doing someone a favor picking it up due to they could not. Secondly part of business is being accommodating, after all the consumer is key to a successful business and going the extra mile can make a world of difference relating to a positive experience.

I have been doing business with this company over 15 years. They are always polite and get my parts on a timely manner. Prices have always been reasonable. I only buy my engines and transmissions from Marshalls. 💯
- RRebecca Poling
Love that I can go on their site order whatever part I need and it’s usually available for pickup within that week. They have the best prices. Awesome availability, fast, friendly and great service. Thanks, guys :)

Made a deal to buy used equipment off of him and he sold it from underneath me, he is a very unloyal, untrustworthy, person and has very poor business ethic

Called two days ago told guy I needed picture of part he said no said he would look at it two days no call and have called twice no haven't looked done with this petty bunch need new manager and answering reviews like you do just go out of business Now I'm really over them they had the idea to call me and ask me what my problem is lucky if I don't call better business bureau After receiving both a reply and a nasty phone call I did call BBB. And to the owner I've called dozens of junkyards on this project for parts and never waited more than couple hours for answer. Once again you most likely can't get help because of your disrespectful way you deal with workers and customer. Final answer is don't worrie I'll never call you again and hopefully no one else will

I ordered my parts via website around 3:15 pm Wednesday and drove almost 2 hours Thursday to arrive there upon opening at 8 am. I knew I'd have to wait since I put the order in late the day before and was surprised to be told the gentleman was already pulling my parts. The staff were all friendly and the prices were phenomenal. The transaction was smooth and easy and one guy even loaded all the parts in my vehicle. The counter guys were answering phones nonstop and handling the flow of customers at a good rate. Marshall's is definitely worth the drive and wait.

The website said they had a perfect black door. That's what I told them I wanted. Instead a beat up red door was brought to me. Despite what they say I did ask for a dark door and the response I got was "black is the darkest we have.". Not wanting to wait another hour+ I just took it because in the long run the extra work on the door would save me time.
- MMegan Maxwell
Drove 4hrs to get parts they said were perfect and refused to go check for me or pull until arriving. All 4 parts I went for were broken and basically called me a liar when I said they refused to check them regardless of how far I was driving for them. One of the employees cared but had no say he felt bad. The rest were just full of themselves. Do not recommend.

I went to this salvage yard to purchase a bumper for a dodge neon and I waited for 5 hours to be told that it was closing time and they didn't get my part pulled. In an effort to make the situation better, they offered to pull the parts the following day and call me when they were ready. The following morning they called and said they didn't have the bumper I requested, but offered another one in a different color for the same price. Bottom line is don't waste time dealing with this place. You will sit there for half a day or more to find out if they actually have your parts or not. This happened twice to me.
- TTJ
They are terribly slow at getting parts, of course this could be due to being under staffed. I waited for over 3 hours on a part my first time there, only to be told that the part was unusable. I am giving them another shot using their online ordering method (to eliminate the lengthy wait, my time is precious), I will update my review if anything goes wrong. As far as customer service goes, it's luck of the draw. There are some great, friendly folks there, but there are also a few that have no business being in customer service. Overall, I can recommend. They have great prices, just note that if you are ordering in person, just make sure you have plenty of time to kill.
- TThomas Shaheen
The slowest yard i have ever dealt with. I have ordered from them multiple times and have had the same result every single time. Order a part wait about 5 days... nothing still no part.... call and ask about it they say they have it on the list and they will get to it the next day.... wait another 3 days.... nothing.... call and ask about it again and they say its still on the list and that they have been "super busy" it's pretty much physically impossible for it to take that long to NOT pull a part regardless of how busy you are. Chalk it up as a lesson learned
- FFirst Choice Glass of America
Very poor customer service. Probably the worst that we have ever tried to deal with, and we service 10-20 businesses a week. I try to understand that things get hectic and frustrating but how these people get away with talking to customers the way they do, is beyond me. Also pricing changes. Went from $40 to $100, within 2 days. I have been told that the owners are unaware that their workers are treating people this way. Unsure if this is true. Would give zero stars if I could.
- JJosh Starcher
Always have what I need! I have went to these guys a few times for parts. Their prices are reasonable and usually beat out other salvage yards. You do have to wait a while (1-3 hours usually) while they pick your part from the yard but they make up for it in price and availability. The men working there have also always been super helpful, answering any off the wall questions.

I brought 4 cars to scrap, they say they pay top pay of $500 as along as the Cadillac converter is on, they low balled me on 2. They took the one vehicle around back and cut the converter off and said it was hollow, $250 is what they gave me and it ran. The other vehicle $250 because the converter was missing and the battery. I know darn well they will make well over $1000 on each vehicle I brought them. They will try and get over anyone. If you choose to do business with them watch out. I did choose my words wisely, and you gave $250 with the explanation of missing battery and converter. These converters value are not $250. So yes when cut off the converter off behind the gate and bring me something in your building how am I to know it was mine. And you know once a person goes through the hassle of getting the vehicle to you , then have to load it again now I know that hassle is better than yours

Came from Cincinnati; I let them know when I left I'd be there in 2 hours. Found out after I got there they had a policy of not pulling parts unless the customer is there, which is understandable, but that would have been nice to know the multiple times I spoke to them on the phone about these parts. Not immaterial, either way, but relevant. My wife and I got lunch while we waited (the Donatos in town is awesome, by the way), and he called to tell me his employee had started pulling the parts I needed. Great! Mind you, if these were currently commercially available parts I'd have simply bought them new, I don't generally buy used parts unless it's something that hasn't been produced in a long time. We came back, knowing that it shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes to pull SN95 Mustang spindles with basic hand tools, he said there was an issue with a caliper bolt. That didn't matter to me since I'll be in a shop setting when I service the spindles, so I told him to just sell me the calipers too and I'll take the whole thing. 20 minutes later, I ask if he'd had a chance to tell his technician to just bring the spindles and calipers up, he said no, and exasperatedly explained that he was short staffed. I sighed, and said ok, and he told me "sighing isn't going to make it any faster". "Why are you treating me like an a**hole?" I asked. "Because you are one" I explained my frustrations with his poorly equipped and organized facility, including his failure to communicate expectations on the phone with customers, and he took that opportunity to be rude and elevate his tone with me. I took this opportunity to depart. Hopefully he understands that he not only wasted my time, but his employee's hour and a half of pulling parts I was not only prepared, but excited to exchange money for. I've spent tons of money with many junkyards over the past few decades on hard to find, no longer produced parts. Not only is this the worst service I've had from one, but it's the first time I've had bad service at one. I'll continue to use the (more expensive) great place south of Indianapolis that's almost two hours further from me in the future for hard to find parts; accounting for other time lost, it ends up being a wash.

They had the part that I needed. I enjoyed the interaction with the employees and other customers. These guys know what they are doing. Trust their system of doing things. They handle a large volume of business and do it very efficiently.
