The workers here are not friendly, at least to us. I went to recycle aluminum cans recently for the first time, and while the man outside was fine, the woman inside was extremely rude. Without any explanation, she took my photo using their ceiling camera. When I asked why, she coldly said it was “for criminal reasons” and claimed police visit weekly for stolen goods. Even implying that one can I brought in could be stolen. That response was unnecessary and disrespectful. I understand they have security procedures but be polite! A little kindness and communication go a long way. Also, learn to smile. That lady is probably miserable to be around!
