My son and I have frequented this location about once every few months for the past three years. My son recycles cans and plastic bottles a few neighbors donate to his recycling efforts. Today (8/28/21) we arrived just as the staff was preparing to break for lunch. We hadn’t checked the hours of operation and our timing was clearly not the best. As we exited the car, a male worker with short gray hair and in a blue shirt (no one else was in blue) starts yelling “We close at Noon for lunch. You can’t just come racing in here at closing time.” First of all, rude. You don’t have to yell and you won’t continue to have a job if you treat people this way. Second, no one was racing in. We simply pulled in. Third, close the door of your truck which says OPEN if in fact you are closed for lunch. This particular employee is a very unhappy and angry soul. He has been irate the previous two times we went there. The company needs to talk to him about his poor attitude and consider placing him in a position that is not customer-facing. We left this time and took six large bags of cans and plastic to a competitor’s location. It was not convenient, but at least they were friendly.

I've been coming to this place for years. Most times the workers are helpful but I came 10 minutes before noon today and a worker I haven't seen before yells out they won't take my cans because they have lunch at noon. I told him I would be quick but he refused. He had a bad attitude and I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

For an industry based on measurement and accuracy, they failed on 4 levels. First: 3 RRR workers doing separate tasks but not communicating with each other. Second: ground labor neglects to inform tally person in truck about my glass bottles (until I spoke up). Third: Truck person doesn't weigh my aluminum cans and plastic bottles. Apparently he guessed how much was in there. Forth: Tally person shorted me a dollar. He says $9.25 payout and when I get home I realized he only paid $8.25. I'm done with these guys.
